Hello, is there any news about the payment ?? I still got nothing, not even the invoice.0
-
Yeah, still nothing here either. Might have to start pestering them.0

I got paid yesterday, but I didn't receive an invoice for the period.
Not a huge issue but would have expected an invoice as well.0 -
Appen seems to be aggressively recruiting for all the markets iSoftStone currently has, so I'm getting the impression they got all the contracts back for next year, or are in the process of getting them back. So unfortunately it looks like our contracts will probably end at the end of the year.
Can't say I'm surprised.0 -

I hope not.
World of difference between the two - iSoftStone is so much better.
Not sure I could face Appen again, but would probably have no choice but to try should the contract end.
No doubt though I'd go back to being on SLR every other week due to metrics which are near impossible to consistently meet.0 -
Unfortunately I don't think Appen would hire or rehire people who have worked for ISS.
I'm not on the UK project but yes, ISS RT*s are generally easier than Appen's. However I found the people working at Appen far more professional than the ISS person I'm dealing with.0 -
Desperation would be the only thing to drive me back to ABH, in retrospect it was just a bad job that was 10x more stressful and intolerant than the pay justified, not to mention I didn't earn near as much as I hoped between tool issues, outages over Xmas and US holidays, SLR... leaving me no better off after getting kicked off than before, and wishing I'd put in my application for Leapforce before ABH.0

Haven't seen any evidence of this myself. All my details on their system are up-to-date, but have only been invited to apply for the same job I already got fired from (WSE), despite the fact that that would be against their rules. Oh yeah, and also put my name forward for some sort of transcription project a few months back, but am still waiting to hear anything definite back about that.. A few others on this thread did mention them having a newer project similar to the iSS one though, which I think they invited specific people to apply for, but I haven't seen anything about it on their website, or anywhere else..
Not that any of this means the UK iSS project WON'T be coming to an end in December, of course.0 -
Anyone else finding their hours aren't being tracked fully today?0
