In order to stand a chance of keeping it on track, you need to stop speculating and posting things that aren't true.

Some of us have a great deal of knowledge of the subject, and feel obliged to correct anything that needs correction.

I'm trying not to misinform but NO ONE in my view can be an expert
I'm talking in the main of ACTUAL experience

I believe if you look into it The device can pinpoint where the tv signal is being used Prob via triangulated satellites It's got a pretty chunky aerial on it

    :rotfl:

They've certainly got you convinced, haven't they?

What a load of old cobblers.

    No they don't.

    No it isn't.

You've already been told you're wrong, and given proof in the form of the FAQ from the TVL website.

Could you please stop spreading misinformation, now?

I'm trying to STOP all the different tangents
As I've said can we not get back to my original post

the AGGRESSIVE nature of the TVL letters Especially like me to those that have a current letter
And despite what others are saying
The fact of the matter is The lady who apparently I'm not allowed to name at the BBC agrees with my view in the main and has advised TVL to stop sending such letters and I'm advised this should happen from last month ( June )

Yes and the internet is a black box with a flashing red light on it.

The tangents will stop when you stop posting speculation and misinformation that needs to be corrected!

I guess you must be a professor in electronics ???
IF you think it's " a load of cobblers " I suggest you ask the TVL to tell you the make and model of the equipment they use AND I'm in a block of 12 flats How did they ONLY come to my flat on entering the block ?

As it seems a number off posters are suggesting I don't know what I'm talking about
The ONLY response I will give from here on in is if the post relates to my ORIGINAL post
    Have fun

Because they know who doesn't have a licence?

Modesty precludes me claiming to be an expert, but I must have seen thousands of reports of TVL activity, and I have never heard of a detection device being used on a routine visit.

You're obviously extremely lucky. What was it that they detected?

Are there really people still paying for a TV licence to one of the most corrupt and abusive companies in the world?:eek:

They should be ashamed of themselves.

I'm proud to say I've never paid for a TV licence in my life.

May I politely suggest you read above I have already put what and how they detect and contrary to someone else's post the info was NOT on a TVL forum it was on the Actual TVL web site and if you are right I suggest I was unlucky NOT lucky
