One would expect a university to proof read their work wouldn't one ! :rotfl:

And that's not the only mistake on that page.

Indeed, it's really quite illiterate. And how about this page which informs visitors how to pay their parking "fines":

Uni of York has a large Law department. It will be interesting to see their GPEOL submission!

Apparently the University also has quite remarkable legal powers:

    http://www.york.ac.uk/colleges/langwith/current-students/regulations/

The Principal has the right to impose fines of up to £250 for each offence (in addition to costs and other charges as appropriate) for unacceptable behaviour.

Someone should send them a printout of this!

I realise the keeper is appealing late but this one could be amusing to see the Uni's reply to a keeper sending the usual appeal template! Make sure she uses the parental home address so the comms only get sent there, and educate your parents about this scam so that they WON'T panic and *helpfully* pay it if they see a debt collector threatogram 'red letter' arrive later on.

BTW what was the time gap between the PCN and NTK, in each case, and can you show us the NTK letter (both sides) as well as the back of the PCN please?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Note that the web page concerning "objections" makes no reference whatsoever to time limits for lodging an "objection":

My parents are completely in on it. I've shown them all these forums and they're starting to realise a lot of the parking tickets they've paid in their time shouldn't have been paid for in the first place!

So I got a parking ticket on 20/01/14 and on 22/01/14 and for both of those I got both NtKs on 01/05/14 (3.5 months)

Album with NtKs and back of PCN are here: http://

Good spot! Given that the time between my first PCN and NtK was 3.5 months they better not be concerned about time limits

Have you got a photo of the back of the image in post 8. That is the original we want to see to see if Popla is offered.

If NTK was 3 months later than windscreen notice then it was not compliant with the deadlines of POFA12, so keeper is not liable.
