After reading your letter I suggest you meet with the Head Teacher to voice your concerns.Try to keep things as factual as you can.I understand how upset you must be but voicing your own opinions may come across as bitter. If you are concerned about your children then state this.
Make the appointment today!lost my way but now I'm back ! roll on 2013

Yes, please! The PC is now slowing down to such an extent it won't even open Word.
I presume it is a virus. It is second hand (of course!) so I don't have any back up disks or virus killers. I ran Windows ??? Defender ??? (I think) and it said it was fine. I also defragmented the disk and that worked OK too. There is no way of getting it online.
Re: the school issue. I wrote the letter and put 2 copies in at the school office, one for the head and one for the head of governors. I hope they have read them by now. I did have a wobble at about 8pm last night when I thought "Arrghgh, what have I done?!" and I will be sure the head looks at me in a funny way when I work there tomorrow, but I think I had to do SOMETHING.

Hi DD
Yes we probably will need some help, but only got the chronology sorted last week and then hardly any computer access last weekend. may be an issue this weekend as well as I am on older relative duty.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -

Firstly, this is a free virus check that I used when they forgot to protect my work computer (RECOMMENDED BY THE TECHIES)

Secondly, I hope that you are OK after yesterday. Do keep us posted. Sorry I missed you. Linked in and then was called away so could not post during the day.
The real issue here is one of child protection regarding all the kids in the school, not just your circumstances.
How you cope with seeing him day in day out I do not know. HUGS

They are working on it. :T
Re: the virus - I can't get online to use a virus killer, sadly.
In the library again!

Hi
Might get called away any minute - soThey are working on it. :T
You mean the stuff re OH? If so, great. it is about time. Given your area I am stunned that half the population does not know anyway - most of our local village knew what we had for breakfast.
Re: the virus - I can't get online to use a virus killer, sadly. rats. Does anyone you know have the skills to fix it. Who is the IT wihizz at the school?
In the library again! Well at least you can get some access.

Just and update on my situation. Had planned to go up to see an elderly relative overnight on Saturday and pick up some small christmas gifts on route (because the shops I wanted to use are there), getting back Sunday evening. This meant I could do some stuff on your file tonight or Friday night.
This morning she has rung and told me that she has been offered returned tickets for an all day Saturday event and she has bought me one! Which means I have to be on the 5pm Friday bus and therefore tonight have to shop for next week and pack. Then post her Christmas gifts later.
She means well, but it is b***y infuriating as I do not have that much free time. If possible I will try and get on her computer over the weekend, but...If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
Hope your weekend goes well, RAS, even if it is rather busy. Boys are off to their father's tomorrow so it really is my only chance to do all my Christmas shopping (!)
Also hoping to go to Birmingham on the train next week to see the German Christmas market. Have actually seen them in Germany many years ago and they were fab.
re: the PC - still broken but my neighbour might come round and have a look at it over the weekend and I've been offered a new hard drive off Freecycle.
re: the ex - yes, the "they're working on it" comment meant the headteacher seems to know the score perfectly and I think he was actually waiting for people to complain so he could do something about it! I am not the first parent to complain this week.....The first governors meeting was last night and I think the head wants a "root and branch" removal of the ex from anything connected with the school. I don't think I can mention his plan of action here, but it seemed very thorough.....
Back in the library again and its cold. STILL a little trace of snow left from last weekend!

Poor you! I had an ex who got himself made redundant (on purpose) after we had agreed maintenance etc so he only paid one month at the correct rate and then stopped paying completely!
I do get something now - £120 per month for 2 kids! Its been that way for years and I don't have energy to do anything about it.
You must be entitled to more benfits - use that website that was recommended elsewhere - it works.
Do you work at all? Could you? I know it's hard with kids. Been there!
Keep smiling and good luck. LizT xWannabe Debt Free Newbie but feeling positive!Ashamed to be where I amHalifax Credit Card (maxed out) £4300 (23.11.07)Grocery spend this week £77.87£2 coins=£14 change jar £14.50:jMoozie's weekly challenge target:think: £20.000 -
