Back in the library! The head decided to have a word with the class teacher and they are not going to let the ex work alone with any children. A bit of a cop out, I think. He is still a governor. Apparerently they have been through the governor rules with a fine toothed comb but he hasn't broken any of them.... yet.

Warm Front coming soon! And nothing further from MCS.
    Happy New Year, everyone.

    Glad to here from you.

Have been very busy but that should start to improve from Monday.

Are there particular days when you are more likely to be in the library or at college?

Am sorry to hear about ex. I really do worry how much these folk understand the implications of this sort of stuff. Sometimes however it is a nightmare dealing with it professionally. Have to be careful how I phrase this but in at least one instance we had to OK someone who was tried but not convicted, not least because the solicitor wrote basically demanding it.

As a general rule, if you can legitimately keep someone out in the first instance, it is much easier than after they have arrived.

Well, the ex is being silly again, breaking his court order right, left and centre :-( and bigger son says he is going to work at school on Fridays.... we shall see. I do know he has already missed one session of governor training so perhaps his interest in that will wain completely. Oh yes, and he's given big son my wedding ring and told him he has to wear it forever...

Anyway.... I am still in the library (!) and days when I am most likely to be found in here are Wednesdays and Fridays from 10-12 or thereabouts. And Monday evenings on the college computer from about 4.45 to 5.30 but I only have another 5 weeks there!

All OK here. No word from MCS and Warm Front came Monday and insulated the loft. Nice chap too, turned out he went to Nottingham too and left the year I started.

Hope all is well with you, RAS.

I have first hand experience of the sort of mind games that you have to live with. The only thing I can say with respect to ex is that if you give him enough rope he will hang himself, in respect to the court, the school, governorship and probably the kids.

At least some of it will be designed to wind you up and personally you may be justifiably furious, upset, out raged (fill on the blank), but if you caan keep the kids out of the equation, it will be much better for you and them. Feel free to let rip on here or pm if you want.

Monday next week is likely to be busy as we will have a deadline - exact time not known until the copy arrives back for checking, so I may miss you. Will see if I can put some thing up by Friday. Tried to work on it at the weekend and discovered that I had taken the wrong memory stick home. Shades of DPA as the one - slapped wrist.

Whilst you are on benefits, make the absolute most you can of the situation. You have had difficult time and deserve a break or two. And isn't it great to talk to a grown up human who thinks you are a person?

Did I hear something on the radio this morning about bank charges? (I was half asleep!) I have a claim with HSBC...

All OK here, draught proofing is being done on the 22nd! :-)

Seems the ex didn't work at the school on Friday, at least not with either son.

Thanks for your help with this, RAS.

    Hi there Acey
Today is the big court day for the bank charges, with the court case that the OFT have bought. Fingers crossed they will win, though as someone said on the news today, even if they do the banks will probably appeal, so it may not be the end of the 'stay' on charges claims.

RAS - don't think I will be able to get to the library tomorrow as the car is having its MOT repairs done. (Only failed on the handbrake!!!) And I have to have some blood tests done 1st thing which will be closely followed by a scan :-(

But might be in town on Saturday.

    Hi

Glad you are here when I can post - have been having problems posting - it keeps deleting the post and telling me that 10 paras is too short a message. Sent you an e-mail last week, did you get it?

    Thanks have saved that.

Can you remove the information now from your post.

If it is OK, I will send you stuff by e-mail? I am not overly keen to post up the whole letter, just in case someone googles the content to see where you are coming from. And it aviods the problem of this site falling over.

Also if you go to your profile, you have another e-mail address up there. Very few people list the e-mail address. You might want to remove it even if it is old?
