99% of the injuries happened in the 6 months when he was living with his now ex-girlfriend. It seems he is just about capable of looking after them when he is living with his mother. Obviously, when living with a girlfriend or wife, all his attention is focussed on what she may or may not be doing :-( and he is just angry and stressed all the time.
Yes, I could take them to the nurse when things like that happen in future. Found the matches, by the way! They were exactly where they always are, top shelf in the kitchen, unreachable to them even if they stand on a chair!

Boy does he have problems!
I am thinking of things like the burn from the bonfire the other week. maybe just agree a strategy with the GP? Dunno. Just my DS is a skinnything - still size 10 after 2 kids and eats like a horse, but someone decided to report mum to the NSPCC repeatedly for starving her. In the end she took DS to the doctor for a complete check-up and every time anyone comments on Ds being skinny, she told the whole world that the GP had advised that she was one of the healthiest kids he had seen and he wished more like that came through his surgery.Found the matches, by the way! Such are the days. Spent several minutes ferreting for a 5p coin that I knew was the only coin in my pocket at lunch time, gave up, then found it immediately after I had paid.
Hoping to get a couple of hours concerted work tomorrow. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
PS
Can you check post 290 for me. Is it right? If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
Post 290 - yes, its all fine. Re: the ex/refuge situation - I can't remember WHEN I told them all about the refuge but certainly it was several times while I was there and perhaps once after I left.
The ex - the financial settlement was mid 2006. I told them on EVERY phone call up to that date as to why they were hassling me for more money and were they hassling Mr X to the same extent? They said yes, they were writing to him and phoning him exactly the same amount of times they were doing it to me.
After the financial thingy, I was supposed to write to all the debt agencies/mortgage etc immediately but erm.... I didn't! I left MCS a bit and when they phoned, dare I say I even encouraged them to send their letters to Mr X at his new girlfriend's address, mainly so she would see what debt he had left behind him. (He sold her car almost immediately and they were evicted for not paying the rent, so I'm sure she learned in the end anyway).
Will have to go, we're going to a PTA bowling thing in a minute and I'm being told the minutiua (sp?) of a model motorbike at full volume....

Great that really clarifies things for me.
Enjoy the bowling.
I can just imagine the stuff re the motorbike.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
Just to update - still nothing from the CAB (I put in an s.a.e this time). No news from MCS (and no apology, needless to say!)
Also got a letter from the mortgage interest paying people to say they will not pay the interest on the £10,000 extra mortgage I took out to go towards the legal fees. I was not expecting them to, but its official now.

Hopefully it's just down to the current Postal Delays.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

DFW Nerd # 166 PROUD TO BE DEALING WITH MY DEBTS0 -
Had a letter in reply to my Tax Credits letter saying they've forwarded it on to another department.
Also had a mad phone call with someone at the CAB. They deny all knowledge of sending 2 more letters to MCS but they could possibly be "chasing" letters. Knowing MCS, that is entirely possible! But they don't know, and don't want to go down in the cellar to check through their paperwork :-S

Hiya
Am on the late shift finishing something off. Just to let you know I am recovering from the lurgie and will get to stuff soon.
Have four pages of stuff to edit but in the absence of a brain, decided it was not a good time. It works for short things but loses the thread after that a the moment.
As for CAb, I am sorry but like so many rural services, it seems you get a poorer quality of service.
Maybe we need to get debt doctor on to it?If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
