Any idea if you signed for PPI or credit Loan insurance on that?If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0

It is possible. I think that was the original loan with HSBC where the ex's car loan and a small-ish overdraft were lumped together. I think I would have chosen to have insurance if they'd offered.

Do you have any idea when the original loan was taken out? Before you got pregnant, aroud the time of you first anniversary/If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0

The ex crashed his car in November 1998. He then took out a loan for a replacement car but we had to get the loan in my name as he was unemployed (what a surprise). So that loan was probably December 1998.
I can't remember when the car loan and overdraft were taken on/over by HSBC. Between June 1999 and June 2000? Late 1999?
