ACEY "Anyway, back to finances!! The £14,000 to my sons doesn't have to be paid until they reach 18. BUT... it does have to be paid if I move or if some bloke moves in (I think you can imagine how unlikely the latter option is)."

In the 'unlikely event' how would your position be affected if you kept the house, moved in with the bloke and rented the property out? After all, you wouldn't be selling and nobody would be moving in...

(I have, to my cost, lived with devious bar stewards and suffered for it. You learn to think like them, even if you don't want to act like them!) :o

Had 4 (!) letters from Social Security today all telling me I will now get help towards paying my mortgage to the tune of £60 per week! And its going to be backdated from June.

None has actually gone in my a/c yet, but its the thought that counts!

    Hi

Presumably that is the main mortgage. Nothing re the second mortgage yet?

:j :j But I am so glad things are moving.:j :j that's a huge percentage increase in your income.

Will the "back-pay" cover your OD?

Can you pm debt doctor and let him know?

Hi we still nwed to know what MBA is. Can you whack out the following letter.

Thank you for your recent response to the Subject Access Request received on (date) August 2007.

With respect to the Subject Access Request, I note a number of items that I cannot understand as they have been abbreviated.

Please could you explain what the following are and the basis on which they are calculated:

    MBA

Anything else for which they have used initials

    Yours

Any news on this? Last bit of the jigsaw.

On the MBA thing, I think I might have got a bit confused there and that was the ex just transferring money to HSBC from another account. It was certainly a credit and not a debit, so not such a worry.

Back pay - the overdraft was £3 and I haven't spent anything since (!), used some of my Nectar points at Sainsburys that I usually spend before Christmas. It wasn't so much the overdraft, more that at the end of September, I wasn't going to be able to pay any direct debits at all. Providing this backpay does materialise, all will be well.

In November, I should get my cash back from Quidco as well.

    Thanks for your help.

  • Hi Acey, you are not receiving enough child tax credit for 2 children. I see from an earlier post you are getting £80 per week, you should receive £94.00 per week ( unless you are repaying an overpayment ?? )

INCOME SUPPORT = MAXIMUM CHILD TAXCREDIT pm me or post on here if you are not paying back an overpayment ( post anyway !! )

If your not getting paid enough we will sort it.

    BEST WISHES
