If a potential buyer can't be bothered to learn the official measurements of the country they're living in, is that the agent's problem? What about everybody else? I know of at least two people late thirties who agree with me.
Surely the job of an agent is to provide as much information as possible to ALL potential buyers0 -

Am I the only one that finds it very annoying when EAs only show room measurements in metres and are too lazy to show feet and inches too?
The world is changing. Nowadays metric system are more widely used than imperial system. The business in the UK realize that.
And people should not afraid of change. Change is part of our life anyway ....
Here is online conversion, you could convert any length unit whatever you want to into inches, feet.

Signage is almost entirely in both systems now, but - yes, it's true - roadsigns are just about the main remaining widespread exception to metrication. Even your "pint" of beer is officially 568ml.I hope they don't drive because Imperial is still the mandated measurement system.
'I didn't know what 12ft meant so continued under the bridge in my 4m high vehicle'
The sooner they get that sorted out, the better. Why this country couldn't just have bitten the bullet and done it all at once, I have no idea.0 -
Since the EU has given up trying to get the UK to go fully metric, why don't we go back to Imperial? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

I am one of people who if quoted measurements in metres, I have to ask what it is in "real money."
It is laziness on my part as I can do the sums, but it is easier to picture in feet and inches. And as far as metric goes, how many people know their weight in Kg as opposed to stones? You don't hear people saying how chuffed they are because they've lost 454g a day for the last week. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0
