OMG!! My ear popped! I can hear! :j :j :j and just as a lovely TMI image for all of you, a huge bit of wax fell out too :rotfl: :rotfl: Your all very welcome
Now I have a bloomin cold though and have been sneezing all day grrr, you realise, come christmas when everyone else is suffering, i'll probably be the only one completely clear of all bugs
A few pennies in the pot today, was a little bit naughty at c0-op as they were reducing down just before closing and I managed to get a pack of 2 'yum yum's' (iced doughnut type cakey things' for 16p so got them for DH and DD. OK not the best present for a man on a diet, but I thought as he's lost over 2 stone now and been very good these last 3 months, 1 little splurge wouldn't be the end of the worldSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
Hi all
Back from a day out in London to see the poppies at the Tower - if you get the chance do go and look, it's an amazing display and not finished until Armistice Day
Potted some change and then got an urge to count up, so have bagged up quite a lot and will pay in £130 tomorrow
Have decided to put my pottings into my ISA towards my pension :money:
I know, boring but I've been doing the maths and I need to save every penny if I want to be able to retire someday :eek:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Another few pences in the pot after DH went and got my bread for me, can't remember how much
Just went onto my water companies website as I was thinking about getting a water meter and found on their freebies water saving page that they were giving away timers for kids to help them brush their teeth for 2 minutesGot one for DD, so should now no longer have to listen too 'muuuuuuuuuuuum! how many minutes has it been now?'. I swear that child spends more time asking me how much longer, than she does actually brushing!

Afternoon all.
Started the week off by potting 2 x £2's, 2 x 50p's and 3 x 20p's = £5.60.
That's all the 20p's need and no more collecting them and only 1 more 50p to get.
I'm aiming for around £25 again this week.

Banked £130 today and updated siggy woo hoo!
32b3in2013 yes I might do that. It's made me think though, I don't know any of my forebears that far back iyswim, that would have been involved in WW1. Which seems mad as it's only 100 years ago. I only know back as far as my grandparents on Dad's side. I should remedy that. I know my mum's family were subsistence farmers or in service, but I do wonder what dad's family did.
Anyway - glad you're on the mend jakes-mum and hope the timer gadget works. Hope everyone's enjoying the sunshine
