  • Jakes Mum....Syringing is okay...I usually have to have mine done about once a Year....it doesn't normally hurt although you might feel a bit of pressure, but it really doesn't hurt....and it's WONDERFUL when I can hear again!! So please don't worry about it....and you'll feel so much better when it's all sorted and clear for you again xXx

No Potting for me today but then I knew there wouldn't be over the Weekend as I don't get anymore Money until Monday....Should be able to Pot something then....

Ty so much Moohound and DreamerHelen, I actually love the feeling of water in my ears (did I mention I was a bit strange?) :rotfl: Once had to have my balance tested by having water run into my ears so hopefully it will be the same kind of sensation :D

No more pennies for my pot, purse was so empty I had to use a card to buy some potatoes  :rotfl: really must go get some cash out or my pot will be very unhappy with me

Ahh ty for all the hugs :D they must have all been very healing ones as ear doesn't hurt anywhere near as much! (though still can't hear through it!) Went back to docs who wants me to stick warm olive oil in there every day and then go in 2 weeks to have them syringed (no idea what that entails  I feel a google coming on :o)

Warning: Your hearing will be ridiculous sensitive after. I had it done 2 and a half years ago. I still have rather sensitive hearing now. (which comes in useful for pub quizzes:rotfl:)

The sensation of having your ears syringed is odd. I am not sure how else to describe it.

  • This afternoon I did a grocery shop at ALDI.Went across the road to Morrisons to get two things I hadn't been able to get on my list.I used the self-service till, and walked off without my change (£4.43 ).When I realised,I spent the next 4 hours kicking myself that I could be so stupid.

Eventually I had a better rummage in my handbag, and found my change :j:j.I will teach it a lesson.Going to trap it in my pot,and that can be a lesson for anymore of my money thinking of running away/hiding from me .
    So,£4.43 into the pot

SO,ANYMORE COINS WANT TO TRY OUT ANY MORE TRICKERY?????????

    Evening

£3 potted today. The £2 coin wouldn't go in straight, I had to Bend it around the corner. That still quite a lot of room at the top of the pot to fill before I need to start a new one though isn't it :(

I hope everyone has has a happy Saturday.

    Hi all,

been lurking and reading the thread regularly, but not posting. So, I've been potting my change and am still finding coins lurking in corners and drawers around the house and my pot is beginning to feel nice and heavy now.

Jakes-mum sorry to hear you've been in so much pain, glad things seem to be better now.

    Happy potting to you all!
