  • So I looked at what I still had in my Purse and decided to add another £2 to the Pot....I've got enough Food for today and the Weekend....so I'm happy to add the extra money....

Aww Jakes Mum....I have problems with my Ears sometimes and it drives me absolutely batty!! So I hope you feel better soon....Please take care xXx
  • Morning all :)

I don't seem to have posted on here for ages but I am still potting away. I bought some 49p spring onions yesterday and got my change from a £10 note all in coins so that went into the pot before I could find something else to spend it on!

    Hope everybody is OK

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Morning all.

Not great weather-wise today so I decided to start counting up and bagging up the silver (20p's and 50p's). My running totals weren't too far out - I had 1 50p over and 3 x 20p's under (I knew I messed up on the 20p's!!). I found another 20p though and totals for 20p's and 50p's are now correct. I've decided to stop saving silver after I collect the remaining coins to round up to £10's worth (4 x 50p's needed and 3 x 20p's). I'll concentrate then on the £1's and £2's to the end.
I couldn't be bothered to count the rest, but have separated the £1's and £2's into individual pots (easier for counting later).

So that's my morning so far. lol

    jakes-mum - Sending you hugs.

Have potted £20.01. 1p of that was road change. The £20 is roughly what it would have cost me to get a weekly bus pass - planning not to use one this week.

Ahh ty moohound, I've suffered with my ears quite a bit as did my middle sister who had ear problems constantly as a baby and is now partially deaf. Will ask about an ENT referral as the doc did say it might be worth them having a look as when I do get ear infections they are always terrible and so painful! Thinking about it, every time I've had an ear infection the drops never work and they end up giving me oral antibiotics :o maybe should have mentioned that to the doc last time I went :o
It just feels so swollen in there it's like the two sides of my ear canal have joined together in the middle, I keep pulling on my ear lobe to make a gap in there and relieve the pressure.

The bony part of the ear can canal can narrow , it often happens in competition swimmers, or the soft tissue that lines the ear canal can become very inflamed. I hope you get some effective treatment, ear pain is maddening.

potted a bit of change today including 21p roadkill :)
