£2 coin in the £2 coin tin from a FB sale, £1 coin from a further FB sale and a bit of shrapnel from my purse after buying some tatties and milk today :D

Mum took DS out to buy his school shoes today and spent £47 on them  plus he came home with 4 tshirts so she was well and truly wrapped round his finger today! DD went out with her auntie and uncle to Duxford to see the aeroplanes and thoroughly enjoyed herself, so DH and I have had a film day today and are currently 1/2 way through our 4th film :o we really are being lazy :o

Ear was sending shooting pains down my neck last night but today is much less painful (unless I catch it wrong) and just feels like theres something stuck in the entrance, which is driving me mad!! on the plus side, I can hear much better today so hopefully this means drops are working :j :j

Enjoy your hols Sue-UU am very jealous of the caravan, we used to have one when DD was a baby and keep talking about getting another now shes older and both kids are more independent so could ride round the campsite on their bikes etc. Just need the pennies to buy one :D

I've been nominated, and I'm just refusing to do it lol. I don't mind the charity bit, but don't see the point in dumping water on my head just because someone told me to, especially as hundreds of people in the world die each year from lack of clean water.

    24p potted today

    ^^^^^ This 100%
I'll walk miles for something I believe in as you know, but ice cold water? No way!!

Have had a lovely walk today and come back with 3 x £2 coins and over £1 in shrapnel so Patrick the pot is very happy.
Off to mums tomorrow so might get some more :)
Hope the holidayers (is that a word?) have a lovely time and good weather. I've never had a caravan; hired a VW camper once which was fun, I've always fancied a caravan but ex-DH vetoed it :rotfl: and now I can't afford it :rotfl:
Never mind, we can't have everything and I'm pretty content with my lot :)
On that philosophical note I'll shut up and say g'night, lots of fresh air today worn me out :D

Yay I did it and joined (a little late :o) however I'm in that's the main thing.

I have 2 pots - one for £2 coins £18 in it so far, and an all other coins pot with, ahem, £2.62 :D

The £2 pot is for a weekend in London in December fund, probably for a hotel as I am saving clubcard and nectar points for restarant vouchers. We have already paid for tickets for the gig, so just hotel and a bit of pocket money needed, aiming for £100-150ish.

The other pot is probably going to be for Xmas pressies, as much as I can get really, again £100-150 would be fab.

getting really excited and cant wait to tip the pennies from the purse into the pot each day :rotfl:
Let's get ready to bumble! :rotfl:

Thanks for all the good wishes for my holidays :T Can't wait !!

Sue-UU - hope you enjoy your holidays. I used to live in a caravan in Holland and then in Southsea (nearby Portsmouth) and always enjoyed it.

Nothing for pot today as not been out the house. Shopping tomorrow though ;)

Hope you all have a super Sunday

I have just spent ages catching up with the thread.

I joined the Grocery challenge for the first time in August.Came in just under budget,so have added the "change" to the pot:£13.21.Due to circumstances at the moment,I am paying for alot more with my debit card/less with cash,so not throwing so much in the pot so often.Hopefully this will change soon.
I have also got a small pile of coins to add to pot,but it is upstairs, and that is tooooooo farrrrrrr away...........Will add it in a few days with my August roadkill.

Morning All! A solitary 50p been added to the tin today - there may be more later but I'm not hopeful. Happy holidays to those going (or still) away. My DS starts college tomorrow, he's not at all phased (though has no idea what it entails...) I'm like an expectant father pacing - I'm so nervous. Can't wait for Friday by which time we will have both "hopefully" have survived the week.
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!

A couple of handfuls of silver potted over the weekend.

Enjoyed a night out at the Robin 2 on Friday. I'd won a free ticket and chose a 60's show. Very good.

Jakes-mum, hope your ear gets better soon.

    Enjoy your holidays everyone.

    Hugs to all.

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Evening all.

Sue, enjoy your hols and hope you get decent weather.

6 x 20p's potted and donated by my Son (bless him) and as good as road-kill.
I'm starting my £100 September potting tomorrow and then I can relax until the finish and concentrate on getting the coins I need.
I'm planning on starting to bag up my 'stash' from around mid-November to find out how much I actually need to reach £1000. Hopefully my counting is somewhere near and over rather than under. lol

    Keep on potting.

Ah ty ModestyB, it just can't seem to decide whether it feels ok, blocked or painful and seems to be running round and round those 3 options throughout the day :o

Am not happy as have just gone onto the bank and realised my money has been messed up since the beginning of the month and i'm over £200 short  thankfully, my miserly ways mean it hasn't dumped us in the overdraft . . yet . . but does mean another morning tomorrow, going round in circles with ESA and trying to get put through to the gentleman who has been struggling to sort out my claim for the last 2 years after they completely ballsed it up and it has never been properly sorted :(

Also thankfully, I had decided to cancel DS and DD's karate lessons (as the instructor has decided to put back DS's black belt test for the 3rd time meaning he would now be waiting 18 months to take it ) so I had a spare £55 in t'other bank that I could use as emergency 'got to buy veg' money! So unfortunately no pennies in our pot as I physically haven't got any to spare  :( hate not feeding my pot, but feeding the kids has to come first :(
