10p in the pot today, DS and DD have spent the entire day up their friends house in their paddling pool and somehow DD has come home covered in mud! even in her hair!?! just . . . . How? . . .
Oh and £3 in DD's pot as she sold her little jessie doll, I had to laugh when I had a peek in the top of their pots, DD has about £15, DS has . . . . £1 :rotfl: she may be half his age but she sure knows what sellsSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £25/£10000 -

We had a big storm today. The thunder and lightening was spectacular. It wasn't so good that I had a white summer top on today and no coat though!!

Hiya,
Well its been payday for me....hurrah! not had much chance to spend it all as i've worked a 13hr shift...this is probably a good thing really. Got 20p to go in my pot later when I can drag myself off the sofa!

Anyway.. Adding in £1/£2 coins now as I'm using this tin towards my USA trip next Christmas.. Well its between USA and Berlin
About time too, mcjordi!I keep on hoping you'll turn up soon, but you just have to be more regular - ok?! Wonderful news about your plans for Christmas, though that's some difference between destinations, keep saving hard, mcjordi!
Good to see you too, Mummy+2, I'm sure you'll be happy come November - so long as you save well.32b3in2013 wrote:I am thinking of signing up for a 10k. Not sure if I can run that far though.
Give it a go, 32b3, you'll never know unless you try, and what an achievement. However far you get it's still much to be proud of. Let is know what happens please. Lucky you with the thunder and lightening storm, I love it, so exhilarating! :j
Thank Heavens both DH & Jake are ok, jakes-mum, lucky too for sure!
Thanks a lot, Trixxibell.
Saver-upper, why not bank your savings and free the pot up? It'll save sporting out for a new one.lucyhope wrote:Thank you everyone for your kind words.
Sue--I've had gallstones for about 15 years and no trouble since diagnosis, but my DH is diabetic and I've been concentrating on getting his BG down with a low carb diet, which is higher in fat than I've been eating.
In the interests of economy I've been eating the same food as he has, completely forgetting about the gallstones, so it serves me right really (wouldn't remove them because I'm overweight)
They're not doing a shunt as yet, waiting to see if the drugs they've given her do the trick, so far so good with that. DD1 and her family are on holiday.
DD2 is in danger of becoming a bridezilla, I can see myself posting on the weddings boards, I'm the mother of a bridezilla and my confession is ......Invitations are done (by me), I'm really pleased with them, and ready to be posted/hand delivered. Most things are organized and paid for, just one or two things that need paying for later.
I understand what you mean, lucyhope, sometimes we just don't think, not to worry just be careful. Fingers crossed for DD 1, I do hope all goes well. As for DD 2....what can I say! She'll be ok, you too. I'm glad plans and payments are going well, good wishes to the both, and you!
imapoet, please could you pop your No on your signature, thanks?
Hello dinglefoot, it's really good to see you pop in, more often would be better! :j
You be sure to make time for you and your Mum, AlwaysHappy, it's precious!Deleted_User wrote:not been potting much - more like delving into my change to make ends meet lol. However as much as its been depleted I did pot a few loose coins here and there so all isnt lost.
Why not read up about the 'holding pot' solution to your dipping in problems, Deleted_User, that way you way well be able to keep more in your "sealed" pot!!
Wonderful potting, Kerry!
Great news about your find, atolaas!
Work's not always a bad thing if it stops you spending, Merry, keep busy!
Another £10 in the pot, and.....another 1p roadkill!!Have a really lovely weekend, folks, enjoy yourselves!
