Phew-that was alot of reading to catch-up on.

jakes-mum,I hope your son and OH are ok.

Have just potted £5.04:"stuff" found around the house while tidying up over the last couple of weeks. For example, today I pulled out OH's "bedside table" (actually an otterman) to vacuum on his side of the bed,and that was worth 2x£1 coins :D.

I have 2 tins, one for gold coins, one for "other" coins. My "others" is absolutely crammed to the top-can't even fit another 1p into it,even if I fold it in half :rotfl:.For a few weeks I have had to put coins in a plastic bag until I get around to buying a new pot.

Thank you everyone for your kind words.
Sue--I've had gallstones for about 15 years and no trouble since diagnosis, but my DH is diabetic and I've been concentrating on getting his BG down with a low carb diet, which is higher in fat than I've been eating.
In the interests of economy I've been eating the same food as he has, completely forgetting about the gallstones, so it serves me right really (wouldn't remove them because I'm overweight)
They're not doing a shunt as yet, waiting to see if the drugs they've given her do the trick, so far so good with that. DD1 and her family are on holiday.

DD2 is in danger of becoming a bridezilla, I can see myself posting on the weddings boards, I'm the mother of a bridezilla and my confession is ......:wink:Invitations are done (by me), I'm really pleased with them, and ready to be posted/hand delivered. most things are organized and paid for, just one or two things that need paying for later.

Ahh ty everyone, they are both fine, though I spent most of yesterday trying to stop Jake being . . . well Jake :rotfl: his main problem is that due to the Coeliacs he has quite a high pain thresh hold as he was in pain for so long when he was younger he kind of got used to it, so I have no idea if his whiplash is worse than he's making out because he can't feel it like a 'normal person' (meant in the nicest possible way  :rotfl:) though moving his neck around is always a good thing :)

The garage have been in touch and said that they will leave us with our car as long as possible while they order in the towbar to save us trying to get round in what is always a sheddy courtesy car ;) so im slightly happier. My neighbours must have thought id gone a bit mad as I was out taking pictures of my completely unmarked rear bumper for the insurance company :rotfl: though we did finally manage to find one very minute scratch on the boot which even now we are not sure if its just a bit of paint transfer or even a bit of strongly stuck on dirt :rotfl: oh well, its been logged, photographed and will be checked by the garage.

No pennies yet as I haven't even brushed my hair yet let alone gone out spending :D

Have a fantabulous day all

Hi! I hope everyone is well! :)

I've potted just over £1 of shrapnel today, including some lovely new shiny 5ps and 10ps which the vending machine at work doesn't accept.
