I was thinking that today Jakes-Mum, about opening day. I nearly had to drop out of all of the challenges today and use all the money towards buying a new car, until the AA man told me there was nothing wrong with the one i have. The thought of opening the tins before the end of November was a bit choking really so glad I didn't have to.

    57p potted for me today.

Meowhouse - hope you got on ok at the vets yesterday - was thinking of you, inspite of my long list (which didn't all get done, but I did enough!). Still got 15 things to do so working through them slowly. A £ potted.
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!
  • Hi all

Potted £6.41 in tips tonight - although sure it should have been 6.51 but the two 5ps I had have mysteriously grown legs and shuffled off...weird...lol

Hello, a rare post from me, just to let you know I've breached the sealed pot so we can use its contents for our holiday at the end of August - a lovely £59 counted out and bagged up ready for the bank, which covers a tank of petrol to get us to our holiday cottage! I've already started the pot again, with the stray coins that didn't fit in a bag, so I'll have an other total to report at the close in November - signature updated with interim total straight after this post!

Welcome! Sue will be along to give you a shiny new number. Meanwhile, you may want to read the rules on page one again if you need to.

20p potted. May have 5 £1 coins to pit later too.

No potting from me for a while. I have a summer job (as if teaching doesn't tire me out enough!) and I've been on my feet for 12 hr days from Monday to Saturday. However, this means that I'll be able to visit my friend who is moving to Dubai. This week's wages have paid for the flight, next week it will be spending money for when I'm there!

However, I have today off as DH and I are celebrating our 8th wedding anniversary.

This also means that I've potted a massive 40p. Better than nothing, eh?! :o

Congratulations! I almost always find that if I don't pot anything, it's because I've not spent anything.
