I hope everyone is keeping well.
I am sorry mogs is being such a worry, meowhouse.
Tonight I have potted a little bit: £1.66 collected from around the house since last posting, and 80p from my "purse" (actually a plastic bag) because it was really just shrapnel-nothing bigger than a 5 p piece.
Can I just say,I started a challenge yesterday, which I thought might have had a few more takers than it has.If anyone would like to have a look and say hi,it is here:

Sue - Many thanks for the birthday wishes.Frugal Living Challenge 2025 Mortgage free as of 1st August 20130 -
Morning all and another nice one.
Kerry Woman - Birthday wishes, have a great day.
Meowhouse - no need to apologise, come here and get it off your chest. Obviously a stressful time and fingers crossed for the best of news.
Take care.
I'll update later once I've been shopping.
Just a heads up (if you are unaware), but the Sun newspaper is supposed to have another voucher offer in this Thursday's paper.
£5 off a £10 spend on fresh meat and fish. Not Scotland I believe as they have already had the offer. Worth checking though.

I found 1p in the self service checkout on Saturday which I kindly gave a home too!
Then I nabbed a not so shiny £2 coin out of my OH's change and I'm taking home £11.50 from work owed back to me from petty cash and since I haven't missed this, I'm going to stick this in the pot.
Hope everyone had a lovely weekend x0 -

cmoooooooon opening day! I want to do the count up!
Oi, behave yourself, jakes-mum!It's a good while til November so keep right on saving hard as you are and you'll be well and truly happy. All the best with the fridge.
It's good to hear your words, 32b3, you'd have been heart-broken to have had to shell out all yours. Well done the AA man!! :TA very Happy 8th Wedding Anniversary to you, Vicky, I hope you had a lovely day together.Deleted_User wrote: »Potted £6.41 in tips tonight - although sure it should have been 6.51 but the two 5ps I had have mysteriously grown legs and shuffled off...weird...lol
Deleted_User - PLEEEASEE would you pop you SPC No on your siggy for me????Thanks a bunch.
Heavy or not, EMMAP...keep right on filling it - OR - open it, count it and bank it, then start again. IF you do bank it, please pop the amount on your siggy so it doesn't get forgotten to be included in the Grand Total!
Very wise thinking about the lump/teeth situation, Meowhouse, so we'll hope she needs her teeth out!!Buffythedebtslayer wrote:I am sneaking in to say still here and today potted 6 pounds. Have been potting bits but not that much!
It's really good to see you again, Buffy, more often would be good, but I'll [STRIKE]have to[/STRIKE] stick with what's possible for you.
I'm so glad you and DH had a lovely time, Lynne, Happy Birthday to him please.
I'll have a gander at your thread in a jif, Saver-upper, good luck with it taking off after some of our 'family' have been there.Hello, a rare post from me, just to let you know I've breached the sealed pot so we can use its contents for our holiday at the end of August - a lovely £59 counted out and bagged up ready for the bank, which covers a tank of petrol to get us to our holiday cottage! I've already started the pot again, with the stray coins that didn't fit in a bag, so I'll have an other total to report at the close in November - signature updated with interim total straight after this post!
Excellent saving, Suziebabe!!!! :T If you don't come on again before you go, have a wonderful time! Well done on already having started potting again. IF you haven't done so already, please add your £59 to your siggy for me please, at.
You're welcome, Kerry, a bit difficult I know on a Monday, but I hope you have a lovely day.
A gold star for you, Lynsey, on helping us others to get the £5 voucher! Many thanks. :staradmin
Great saving, Flat Eric!! :j
I hope your evening's a good'n, all SPCers, save VERY hard now!
