Hello :) I'd like to be added to the next sealed pot challenge that starts 28th November please, Gem x
    Target of £1000 please x
I've started collecting one pound coins, trying to get one of each design, so I have added about £25 to the new pot :)

A very warm welcome, grassgirl. It's lovely to have you with us. :grinheart Enjoy yourself saving (you can start right NOW!), posting and joining in the banter. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 2nd post of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. PS. We always empty our pots and declare our savings near the end of November, please make a note of this year's date: 26th Nov.

Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away. ;)

*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.

Gem, I hope you saw my message above that you can start right NOW!!!Enjoy it all. :DBTW, I've put your Target of £1000 on the new post that will be on our new SPC 8 thread which will roll out on Friday 28th.

    NB everyone!
Unlike sparky I have not been able to take any banked amounts from your sigs, I'm trusting that you'll all be able to give me the entire sums you've saved when you declare on the 27th. Thanks a lot folks. :)
    Hello and welcome!

Well done for already reading the first page! But don't worry about reading the whole thread. There will be a new one on the 28th so follow us over and it wont take you long to get to know everyone.

Yes you can use your penny pot. It should give your next years pot a lovely boost and you can continue potting there.

Sue will come along and give you a number. Please pop this on your signature. Subscribing to the thread also helps so you wont get lost.

Just have fun, save lots and ask if anything is troubling you.

    Ruth x

Many apologies, Ruth, I completely forgot your gold star for the above welcome which was just right I might add! Yer tis :staradmin and thanks. Thanks so much for all your help on the reminders. :)

Di-Dough, thanks a lot for the new opening date confirmation.

Your turn will come round soon enough, scotmumof3! :j

Nix143, your target of £300 has been safely added onto the SPC 8 thread which you'll see on Friday. :D

So so so so so so close indeed, 32b3. By eck, you're a lot further advanced with Christmas shopping than I am.

Time's just flying by, AlwaysHappy, not that fast that you can't pick up typos and thongs though eh!!!!! :rotfl:

Holding Pots are a wonderful idea, cattysmum, and help many out from needing to raid their pots..though how they do so when they're sealed I really dunno! :undecided

Well done, Ben, safety HAS to come first and if you're already hearing of burglaries then precautions have to be taken....or you could smash them over the head with the large filled coke bottle!!!! :rotfl:

....and your best is all we ask, Vicky. Enjoy seeing your friends.

    Oh do share Nix!!

Sue thank you for my star. I shall treasure it with the rest!!

Only 43p potted this morning. Off to the vets later to have Dots teeth looked at (she still has almost all her baby teeth) so we'll see what the damage is from that first.

£2.52 potted today. I changed up money from my recent holiday to Iceland. Came back with a fair bit unspent so I'm going to pot any coins I have spare as and when.
