Brilliant news about your change being *wanted* Ruth, saves you a huge job! :j I can see why you'd want to up your Target for next year too, so all the best in getting rid of those debts. Let me know when you're sure about it. Many thanks for quoting those necessary words to members too, and for helping so much on the reminder threads, you're a gem! :A

Sue, at the very latest I should be debt free by August 2015!! I just called the bank to check. That means every penny after then will go either into my ISA or in to the pot. Although my ISA interest has dropped so much it feels like its hardly worth saving there anymore.

Do you know what. Stuff it, pop me down for £1000 target. Either way i'd only be letting myself down if i fail!

Hello - I just popped in to give you the total of my sealed pot for 2014 as I am off work next week and not sure if I will get time to pop on - my total is £563.20
I am really happy with that and as I have been extremely organised and bought all my Christmas presents I have decided to open a Bank Account for my niece and nephew (16 months and 18 months) and put in the contents of my sealed pot.

Thank you Sue-UU for all your hard work (if I knew how to give you a shiny star I would ) and I have put a note in my new 2015 diary for the 2015 opening day!

    Keep potting

    Hi

Could I join the SPC for next year please? I'm returning to OS and could do with another little trick up my sleeve.

I've read the rules but not the whole thread - s'enormous! Could someone advise whether the contents of my penny pot can be used? Is that fair play or not? I have a pot I throw change in every now and then but with no purpose and no goal - could I use it to start me off with a bang?

Thank you kindly and looking forward to playing next year :T

    Hello and welcome!

Well done for already reading the first page! But don't worry about reading the whole thread. There will be a new one on the 28th so follow us over and it wont take you long to get to know everyone.

Yes you can use your penny pot. It should give your next years pot a lovely boost and you can continue potting there.

Sue will come along and give you a number. Please pop this on your signature. Subscribing to the thread also helps so you wont get lost.

Just have fun, save lots and ask if anything is troubling you.

    NB everyone!
Unlike sparky I have not been able to take any banked amounts from your sigs, I'm trusting that you'll all be able to give me the entire sums you've saved when you declare on the 27th. Thanks a lot folks. :)

You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 2nd post of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. PS. We always empty our pots and declare our savings near the end of November, please make a note of this year's date: 26th Nov.

Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away. ;)

*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.

Nix143 - most certainly the contents of your penny pot can be used!!!!So, now you can be off with a huge bang!!! :D

lynnejk]What are the reminder threads please??

I'm so pleased you asked, Lynne, I keep a Reminder thread going on the DFW main board as well as on DFW Challenges board, hopefully to try to remind all our SPCers to be here on the 27th. I have a few angels who help out regularly, but with more of course then the better it is. I'll be so grateful for all the help possible on both threads. The main DFW board reminder thread is here and the DFW Challenges thread is here. Please just be sure to leave about 1/2 hr between your post and the last "Sue's angel's" post or Martin nor the Guides will be happy if we plague them! Thanks so much, Lynne. :grinheart

Thank you so much, mummytummy, amazing what can be done between Australia and England he!!! ;) You've been amazing so far, thank you!

I haven't kept a note of my pottings so will get a lovely surprise. Asking myself for permission to open a week early but so far permission refused! Will I hold out?

So, who's going to win then, imapoet, willpower or suspense?!! It's so good to see you back and all fired up ready for your BIG surprise!!! :D

Still potting away then, Kerry, good for you - and your pot!!

Many thanks for all your help, Ruth, I really am grateful, both here and on the 2 threads. So, will those thoughts of yours come to fruition I wonder! I hope so. I'm dreaming of mine running over, but that's not going to happen, but I can dream..... PS. Just seen your latest post, so I've put you down for £1000 for 2015 though it won't show on the current names/numbers post as I've put it down on the one I've got ready for the 28th. All the VERY best in achieving it. :j

You can hold fire, nu1isit? ....or can you? You know Ruth's right, you do look so much like nudist it's unbelievable! Umm, that should read your name looks so like it. :o

Ahh but, little_sweetie, if you hadn't won it you wouldn't be able to use it for the MOT. Whatever you do with it, congratulations on a good win!! :T

Your Target is the same for 2015 as it's been for this year then, lulu 92?
