32b3, that's simply amazing!!!!!! :T:dance: Isn't it just fantastic what can be saved rather than possibly frittered away! So thrilled for you. I know it's a bind having to go to the bank multiple times - worth it though eh?! ;) How about local shops? We usually go to the village PO/Store with ours and they're always glad of it.

Please ensure your correct Nos are on your siggies everyone!

Don't forget NOT to change cash via coinstar or they'll have over 10% of YOUR money!!!!

Have a fantastic weekend, Potters, the last before the 27th!! :j

Thanks Sue :D it is indeed fantastic :D:D . I was just saying to the woman in the bank that it was a nuisance having to go multiple times and she said just bring it all round. I didn't need telling twice :D. All money now banked.

I was thinking about the Jo Malone advent calender I wanted and it's a bit of a waste of money really so I think I will leave the money in the bank until it's time to do Christmas food shopping, pay for my mum's and my sisters and leave the rest in there.

I have bought the first tin for next year. It is 4 times the size of the normal ones from the £ shop. I will aim to fill 2 of them :D

Just the ticket, 32b3!!!! What a helpful lady...a potter maybe! ;)

I couldn't agree more re the advent calender - I mean, it's not as though you have money to throw around! Seriously though, that's the type of things we make our savings from; if you don't NEED it, leave it!! :dance:Go fill they there pots, 32b3!!

I now have a new pot up and running after digging out my little terramundi that DS bought me a few years ago, and told DD if she wanted a clue for something to get mummy for christmas, mummy does like those big money tins from the £1 shop ;), though at 6 she struggled to understand what I was talking about and we had to google a picture in the end, and then spend twenty minutes of her asking me 'what picture do you want mummy?', me:'any picture love, whatever one you pick will be perfect', her: 'but what one would you choose?', me: 'I have no preference sweetie, they always change them so I don't know what ones they have at the minute, what ever you pick will be lovely', her: 'yes but what one do you want?' . . . . and on and on it went  I'll probably end up getting the christmas bell decorations she tried to buy me last year before mum caught her putting them in the basket and had to explain why that might not be the best gift :rotfl:

Spent a fair bit of SPC7 money, we now have a fan in the bathroom that works, our electrics upstairs are working properly :j, we have an extractor hood for the kitchen (only took us 8 years to get that sorted ;)) and DH and I both had some pennies as 'our' haul was so good this year. The rest will probably be held on to until march and turned into dollars :D:D:D

Congrats all pot openers, your totals are fab!! Feel like ive started a pot opening revolution this year :rotfl:

Apologies jakes-mum, I didn't mean to ignore you, you know that, especially after all your Lily had said - or not whichever way you look at it - :undecided Expect nothing on the day and you'll not be surprised. :D Bless her, I hope she doesn't lose that cuteness for a very long time.
