24p in the pot today, have now finished DD's waistcoat and ruffly neck thingy for her vampire outfit and get to spend tomorrow making the cloak, which includes a spider on the back made out of 3mm iron on crystals that she insisted was incorporated  really should learn to keep my mouth shut, stop asking what she wants to be and just go to the £ shop like everyone else :rotfl:

    Debt-free and Proud!
Having a very bad day :( went into bronchospasm at work ( best place to be I suppose) and had to lie on a trolley in the recovery area, with IV steroids, salbutamol and oxygen and a chest X-ray.

I should listen to my mum and not go back to work until I am properly better, lesson learned.

Don't know when Im going to get my car back, its still in the car park, OH came and took me home when I had recovered.

Supposed to be going caravanning on Friday, not looking very promising.

Night Potters, off to bed early, exhausted :(

90p potted. No cash in my purse now...

I'm another person who is going to be around the £100 mark of sealed pot booty. I have other savings for other pots and things, but I'll be ensuring this SPC money goes towards Christmas!

Thanks for that, jakes-mum, they have warned it will be 45 mins, though they say that's for each scan. We'll see. Well done on the crochet, I love it. :D It's great that you're giving your Nan something you will have made yourself. Did you know there's a crochet thread or two on MSE? I doubt anything escapes your notice. :rotfl: So sorry to read about your fence, but thankfully that can be replaced. BTW, I'm with you on Christmas, I LOVE it and adore Christmas films!!! :xmassmile:rudolf:

Sue, I'll update my total as soon as I have it. I WILL get to that grand and then stop. This last £100 seems to be the hardest one to get!!
I have banked another £500 today though, so £890 banked to date. I don't want to leave around a grand in the house when I'm away next week. Lol

Fantastic saving, Lynsey!! :T So long as you keep your entire Total to declare then that's fine, in fact I'd rather do that as it concerns me that some folks cash may have been counted twice in the past.

Don't worry about your missing mojo, AlwaysHappy, we all have times that are a lot more expensive and saving is far less, but so long as we save what we can when we can is all that's important. Keep hold of that excitement...it's almost as precious as counting up! :j

All saving is good saving, and any amount is more than we would have had had we never started saving :D

You sum it up perfectly, 32b3!! :T I could not have put it better myself. Please folk, whether it's a little or a lot that you save, be so very proud of yourselves - you've saved and it'll be such a benefit to you - whatever it is! :A

Very well put by you too, Helen!! You've done yourself proud this last 2 years. :j

Lovely to see you, findingmyfeet and, mrsdalloway,....all excited and soon ready to open that pot, a brilliant time of year! :D:D

Very many thanks for quoting the "banked amounts on signatures" for me, Ruth, I just hope people take note, and at least with having it top and bottom on the previous page as well as top of this page they certainly should do. Bless you. :kisses3:

Also if anyone has any Euros (or other coins) laying about, you can get their value exchanged and that will help boost your savings. I use a site called www.leftovercurrency.com

Just gathered together some NZD, Thai Baht and a few US dollars. Won't be much but every little helps :)

Many thanks for highlighting that, EMMAP, a gold star for your help :staradmin.

You'll need to take great care, moohound, and if it's still cold at the weekend then there's a great risk you, and being in a caravan away from home isn't somewhere I'd wish to be if my health wasn't right. Why not be absolutely sure your medication works well before you're going away in a chilly autumn! For now - here are a few {{{hugs}}} for you.

Have a great day, SPCers, save hard - as tomorrow we're down to only......5 weeks until 27th November!! :j

Hope you feel better this morning Moohound. Sounds terrifying what happened to you. Put your feet up and get some rest.

55p potted for me this morning, from clearing out the shrapnel in my purse.

    Morning all.

moohound - that's scary and hope you are feeling much better today. Take care.

5 x £1 coins potted and only another £18 need to complete my "task".
I've bagged up as much as I can (full bags) and will wait until I have what I need and do one final "weigh in".

The clocks go back at the weekend, so an extra hour of potting. :p
