  • Thought I would pop in,

I'm still potting just don't always have time to post. Looking forward to counting up the tin its getting heavy.

A few pound coins have gone in as well as the trusty coppers.

I'm hoping for a good amount to make a dent to one of my ongoing goals.

    Xx

  • Morning all!

My lovely OH swapped me £5 for £10 last night (no idea why) so i am putting the £5 i gained in my pot! He also gave me his change from the £10 (£2.87) so that's going in the pot along with 41p from me! He's a good man.

It's going to be very busy around here in 5 weeks when everyone comes on to declare their totals. I'm so excited i can't wait.

Oooo Sue, actually I didnt know about the crochet threads, theres some parts of the forum I don't dare venture into :rotfl: they must be in one of those :D Nan will only be getting the blanket if I actually get it finished in time . . im very easily distracted ;) am still halfway through DD's halloween costume, 2/3 of the way through clearing up down the side of my chair, 1/6 of the way through nan's blanket, and 'thinking' about the fact I said I would open DD a bank account 2 months ago. On the plus side I did actually manage to take DS's old build a bear back to the shop to have its back restitched . . that was only by the side of my chair on the 'to do' list for 6 months :rotfl:

15p in the pot today :D

    5 weeks to goooooooooooooooooooo

  • My last minute potting frenzy continues - £12 potted yesterday (lottery syndicate winnings) and just under £4 potted today. I too have an empty purse now, but this does stop me spending! I can't wait to break the seal and see how much is in there.

My original plan was to use it to buy a much needed replacement fridge (and freezer, depending on how much was in it). But, due to an unexpected bonus at work this month, I've managed to order these now. So, I'm not sure what my pot money will be for.

I should probably bank it and put it towards paying a CC. This would be the sensible thing to do, but if I always did the sensible thing, I wouldn't need to be on a debt-busting website!

£5.16 potted today which includes £2.55 that I was overcharged in Mr. M. today. Good job I always check my receipts before leaving the shop.

DH's prescription 'got lost in the post'. Third time that's happened. Still waiting for his stuff to arrive. Hope he doesn't run out before they come.

((((Moohound)))), take good care of yourself.

    Hugs to all.

    Hiya everyone :hello:

Moohound - think you need to give yourself some TLC and I'm sending you a ((hug)) hoping you soon feeling better.

Well jakes-mum - looks like you're in with a chance of lasting the course this year   and waiting until THE DAY.

Bought a really nice YS salad in M & S today - it was reduced to 90p and so didn't have the front to use my cc so gave her a £. So that's 10p change in the pot today :)

Hope you all have a fantastic Friday
