Evening
All saving is good saving, and any amount is more than we would have had had we never started saving
83p potted today.

Morning Everyone....Hope you are all well on this cold and frosty morning
Well I'm not entirely sure how much I will have in my Pot to pay for Christmas....but whatever I have saved will be more than I would have had if I didn't save anything at all!! I reckon I'll definitely have enough to Pay for Christmas outright....and if I can do that then I'll be really happy...
So I've Potted £1.30 this morning....Feels good....0 -
Morning all and no cold and frosty morning here.
A lovely Autumn morning and the winds have dropped.
1 x £2 coin and a £1 coin potted.
Off to do a small bit of shopping later, so hopefully a few more coins.
I save for Xmas and have done for quite a while now. I love to have Xmas for "free" and feel deeply sad for those that have to spend the following year paying for Xmas and for it all to start all over again. That's pressure and luckily I'm in a position to avoid that - no small children help there.
But if you can, try and save for the next Xmas, rather than paying for it later. Little bits, week after week, definitely help.

'Sigh' darn wind yesterday! Managed to rip down our entire fence on the one side
including the brick pillars each panel was screwed too  very lucky no-one was outside in ours and neighbours garden when it happened so no-one hurt but so cross as it cost a lot of money to get it done and it probably wouldn't have happened if I had been listened too 2 months ago!

'Have taken up a new hobby, I am teaching myself to crochetam currently halfway through the second square of my 12 square blanket ive decided to make my nan for christmas. Been learning a month now so am quite pleased ive managed to get down the granny square and change the colour twice per square as well
Is it terribly sad that i've been sat learning whilst watching christmas films  DH says its much to early to be watching them, but . . well. . . they have a christmas film channel already on Sky so would be rude not to watch them really :rotfl'
well i dont post much months just disappear. Potted well through the summer but this last few weeks money has been tight and nothing potted at all:o need to make the final push through November. I love opening my pot and seeing what i have extra. I do save for christmas food and gifts monthly but its always lovely to have a bit extra for treats/emergencys/helping the kids.
Cannot believe almost another potting year over-think i need to have a root around and find something to pot today the dry spell cannot go on:(sealed pot member no :0812011- £306.68 2012-£304.36 2013- £387.44 2014 - £441.43

£1.70 potted today.
Also if anyone has any Euros (or other coins) laying about, you can get their value exchanged and that will help boost your savings. I use a site called https://www.leftovercurrency.com

Oh, also, i went to give blood today. I went to park in the carpark (£2.40 an hour) when a friend from work spotted a patch of land that we could park on. We were in there 2 hours so i'm going to pot £5 when i get home. Done a good deed and saved some pennies

Evening all.
I had a bit of a result today. I sold something that had been lying around the garage for a long while and the guy paid the £10 all in £1 coins. lol
He could have possibly been a taxi driver?? He just counted the coins out of a money bag. If I hadn't got so many bags last week, I'd have also asked for the bag. :rotfl:
So £10 potted and I still have some change to sort later.
