jakes-mum hope it turns out OK for you with the memory thing. I had no idea there was such a thing as a memory clinic, I wonder if my doc would send me as my short-term is appalling too

Its the clinic they send people with things like suspected dimentia etc, my local one was a really nice place, had a nurse take me in a room and ask me random questions like 'name as many things as you can beginning with 'random letter' and 'spell whole, now spell whole backwards'. I had to laugh when I saw the doctor afterwards and he said I had scored higher on the memory test than people with no memory problems do! got 97/100 :rotfl: well! ask a girl who's party trick since she was 11 was to recite the alphabet backwards, to spell words in reverse, what do you expect :rotfl:
Well worth an ask to be referred though, even if its just to set your own mind at rest :)

Sending many good wishes to sparky and Mrs sparky

jakes mum - Well done you for being so brave. Great to sing in your head - I find that I'm in tune AND in time when I sing in my head. You know, an X Factor winning performance.

Potted 90p which was nabbed from DH's bedside table. Honestly, he shouldn't leave it lying around. :rotfl:

    I also potted 20p, 4 x 5p...

    Night all

NB everyone! Unlike sparky I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO TAKE ANY BANKING AMOUNTS FROM YOUR SIGS, I'm trusting that you'll all be able to give me the entire sums you've saved when you declare, in fact I'm positive you will. Thanks a lot folks. :D

Well done, mossy, why pay to park when there's a chance of parking for nowt!!! :D

I see what you mean now, Lynsey, though had been wondering about you on Friday! BTW, very well done with your imutual savings, so worth doing.

I'm pleased your MRI is over with, jakes-mum, all the best with the results. My DH has one on the 5th November, he's not looking forward to it, but needs must. He too is keeping his eyes tight shut. If he sings out loud he'll clear the room!!!!

Strange goings on, 32b3, for one who nearly always begins weekends on a Friday....you obviously had one heck of an odd turn! Beware!! ;)

Potted €2 years today so I'm dead happy!! It's difficult to know how much I'll have but every penny counts towards my big day!!!

That's the way to view it, tatabubbly, don't get any figures in mind and just be thrilled to bits whatever it is - better than having been spent!! ;)
Reached 32 weeks already and 8 more weeks to meet our bundle of joy can't wait. Decided against opening pot in October will open along with all of you on 27th November.

Lovely to see you, Loveactually, and hear you're opening up with the rest of us on the 27th!! PLEASE don't forget to let us know when your little treasure arrives!!! :A

Good to see you, Mrs Cheshire, don't forget declaration day - 27th!

My how quickly time goes by with our kiddies, moohound, hang onto every moment possible! :D

Do ask your Dr to get you checked out, Rosy, that way you can then stop worrying. {{{Hugs}}} for you. :)

A good idea to carry your savings over to next year, Ben, especially if you don't need it - and think what you'll have then!! :j

Why not get yourself checked over with your Dr, moohound, it may be asthma.

Congratulations on having cleared your credit card debt, EMMAP!!!! :j A marvellous occasion.

That's bad, Modesty, have you been in touch with them?! Here's hoping it comes today.

2 x £2 coins and some odd shrapnel that I completly forgot to count

Ahh ty Sue, tell your DH it really isn't as bad he thinks it will be, the worst part was the waiting in the waiting area! A bloomin hour late they were  I think the whole thing is designed to make you as anxious as possible, letter tells you to allow at least an hour . . . what they don't tell you is 45 mins of that is sitting in the waiting room cos they are running behind, 5 minutes is the 'have you got any metal in you' questionaire and the last 10 - 15 minutes is actually you in the machine! :o

Have taken up a new hobby, I am teaching myself to crochet :D am currently halfway through the second square of my 12 square blanket ive decided to make my nan for christmas. Been learning a month now so am quite pleased ive managed to get down the granny square and change the colour twice per square as well :D Is it terribly sad that i've been sat learning whilst watching christmas films  DH says its much to early to be watching them, but . . well. . . they have a christmas film channel already on Sky so would be rude not to watch them really :rotfl:
