Hi folks, I hope your day's been a good one and that all is well with everyone and your loved ones - if not that it soon will be. :D

Very well done, 32b3, a lovely little sum.

I hope you've cheered up since yesterday, moohound, I don't like to think of one of our SPCers feeling down. You were wise to watch the Ebola documentary, but don't let it get to you as the chances of us getting it are very slim. I bet if you shopped on-line long enough you could soon come up with some surprises and happy thoughts, give it a try.For now here are {{{hugs}}} for you. :grinheart

Popped in to the bank today. While I was there I picked up some money bags...it's nearly that time!! :D

Thanks a lot for the reminder, mossy......

....don't forget, everyone, to get your bags from the bank ready!!!! Thanks the sparky wishes.
Now Sue and Mr Sue-uu will be counting the totals. We had better behave peeps  NO peeping or dipping cotton buds in (jakes-mum ) we have only a few weeks to go. Big push everyone for stunning totals! Having said that I only have 50p to pot....creeps out quietly.....:o

Many thanks, little_sweetie, but it's too late saying things like that to jakes-mum - she's already done both - many times over!! :angry:BTW, she could never be good if she lived in a Convent, let alone at home with her pot! :A

Hello Lucy and lovely to see you back, though I understand about just how busy weddings are. Go careful in your house and wait until after the wedding to trade blows!! Amazing news for DH with that £50!!!! DH & I won £25 last weekend! IF this is the last time you're on SPC before the wedding then have a fantastic time, and all best wishes for the bride and groom's happiness and good health.

Drove to Uni today as I had the car. I parked in the free Uni car park which is 10 minutes walk away rather than the Campus car park and saved myself £1.20 in the process. I also bought a pack of chocolate bars for a £1 in Morris the other day. I took one of those in instead of paying 65p for a bar, so that saved me another 40p.

I had a £2 coin in my purse and decided if I parked in the free car park I would pot it instead. Which I've just done. What a good girl I am. :D
Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Sue. lol
It means we haven't got much time left to reach set targets.
I've done well all year and seem to be struggling now!!

Anyway, all my £1 coins (apart from part bags) are bagged up.
I was 3 x £1's over, 2 which would count for the £2 coin under the other day and I was actually a £1 short today in 1 bag. So all is resolved and now 100% accurate, but pretty close to what I tallied to be honest.
I'm hoping for a good week next week and I'll almost be there, but still hoping for £5 or so tomorrow.
I'll be banking quite a bit next week and I'll feel more comfortable not having all that cash in the house. Pot will be resealed ready for next year. I'll only be saving £1 and £2 coins next year and a target of £500.

re imutual "clicks", I've "clicked" for a free Xmas lunch, but you could easily save £50 over a year to add to your pot for next Xmas. No excuses really as it only takes minutes per day. Other spends via the site also adds to the pot (like Groupon deals etc). I'll be cashing out in 6 weeks time as I'm just waiting for more funds to be added. What I can't cash in will go towards next years "free" Xmas lunch. lol

If I don't post over the next few day, have a great weekend and hoping the weather is kind. Not too bad for the time of year.

    Evening Potterssssssssssssssss

Sue! How could you say such a thing? . . . you know me so well :D :rotfl:

Been to the hospital today for an MRI, sorry I didn't mention it to you all before, but made the decision not to tell anyone except my mum and husband (well he had to drive me there so I had no choice but to tell him) as theres always someone who says 'oooo, will you be able to get in there? its right claustrophobic' or something along those lines, actually my mum's first reaction was 'are you sure you'll be alright going in it?' *rolls eyes*.
I was nervous enough, so thought it best just to keep it to myself until afterwards, to anyone who ever has to have one done, its not that bad! The tube is roughly a metre long and is open both ends and you have a cold breeze blowing over you the whole time. I kept my arms crossed over my chest, my eyes tightly shut from the moment I lay down to the moment the nurse was standing next to me again and sang Bette Midler songs in my head for the 15 minutes.

Anyway on to potting news, 41p in shrapnel in the big tin, still room for more :D

    Evening

    £3.61 potted today.

Something strange happened at work today. I had a mid year review with my boss and mentioned that I would do a bit of research with a cross section of my department. He agreed it was a good idea and I didn't want the weekend to start so I could sort out the logistics of research. I ALWAYS want the weekend to start!! I have checked my temperature, and I don't have a fever :D

    Have a great weekend everyone
