Ok folks, at last our dear sparky has e-mailed me! Sadly, his dear Wife has been having health problems and, all being well, he will be back sometime next year to join in the thread and enjoy the banter as......he's missed us all very much - us him too! I know all you SPCers wish his dear Wife the very best of health and a speedy recovery!!!!!!

Sorry to be so late to pop in but I am glad you have heard from dear Sparky, Sue, but so sad to hear that Mrs Sparky is unwell. Love to them both and get well very soon.

Now Sue and Mr Sue-uu will be counting the totals. We had better behave peeps  NO peeping or dipping cotton buds in (jakes-mum ) we have only a few weeks to go. Big push everyone for stunning totals! Having said that I only have 50p to pot....creeps out quietly.....:o

I'm going to start bagging up tomorrow and see how my tallying up has been. Fingers crossed I'm in front. :D

Just a single £1 coin potted tonight.

    Morning all.

Counted up my £2 coins last night and one short!! But not too bad really and almost spot on.
So adjusted my total down and hoping the £1 coins add up or even better being over.
I want to bank quite a bit before my hols (week after next).

Off for some more coins. lol
    Catch up later.

    hi everyone,

I know I seldom post but I am still potting :D. I too have put a cheeky £5 note in there on more than one occassion. My tin actually feels quite full but I know that for the first half of the year it was mostly coppers but it will still be mine - all mine - this year when I open it :D

Sorry to hear about the Sparkys - wishing Mrs Sparky good health soon x.

Still potting quietly away, not as much as I would have usually but DD2s wedding has depleted our savings quite a lot. Not so much MSE as miser next year!
Nearly there, wedding is on 1st November, just sorting out place cards and favours.
DD1 is doing ok, medication seems to be controlling things thank goodness.
DH won £50 that I was all set to filch for my pot when Matron of Honour decided her dress wouldn't fit, I was offering alternatives and DD2 said " Don't worry we'll get you another! Very nearly a murder!!!!
Oh well, soon be over, then maybe I can start thinking about Christmas.
I'd forgotten how much a wedding takes over your life.
Hope Mrs Sparky is feeling a little better.

    Afternoon all.

    Potted 2 x £2 coins today.
I've banked £390 of my "stash" and put it into the Xmas fund account.
I would have banked more, but no more bags................................ well until today. I'm off to count the £1 coins now and will adjust the total later - hoping it's upwards. lol
