Have potted £8.50 today - am still feeling so motivated about this challenge which is hard to believe - I am a real starter of thins and never usually stay the duration. I am so pleased this has been the one thing over the year that I've stuck to - saving is a good habit to get into, everyone here is fab and so motivational you can't help but feel part of the gang and get dragged along. Its sooo fabulous.
Aww - that's such a lovely thing to say and I know exactly what you mean. It's kind of addictive eh ;)

Potted £7 today and maybe get some change tomorrow at shops

Good luck one and all - it's NOT POTTY TO POT :rotfl:

Hope you have a great weekend and don't forget the clocks

Morning all, hope all are well.

AlwaysHappy - a good motivating post and well done on staying the course.
I agree with lynnejk and it is addictive, a good addiction though.

I've had a good week and changed some notes yesterday and this morning I'm potting 1 x £2 coins and 10 (yes 10) £1 coins = £12 potted.
I'm only £3 short of my target now and hope to get that later and that's me finished until the next challenge. I'll pop anything above the £3 into a holding pot for the next time. I won't be going for that "grand" again and will relax a little more next year (sorry) and go for a £500 target with a view to hopefully getting £600. But I will get £500.

Some great potting going on, keep it up for the final few weeks.
    Have a great weekend.

    Evening all.

I managed to get 2 x £2 coins today, which took me £1 over my target for the year. So, I took a £1 out and that will go towards next years total. lol
I'll bank what I have on Monday.

    So champagne popping time:-

That's me finished for this years challenge and I'll report back on closing day to declare my GRAND.
I'll just be reading and thanking posts until the end, but will be willing you all on. No matter what you end up with, I hope it helps in some way.

Take care all and keep on potting as much as you can over the remaining month or so.
Hoping we can top last years target.

    Well Done Lyndsey :T :T

DH talked me into letting him go down the pub with a £10er, he's just got back and had £12.69 in his pocket (which included a £2 coin, he knows how to keep me happy :rotfl:), plus he's had a few beers and a couple of whiskeys :D

Gave the kids a £1 each and put the £10.69 in the pot :D:D Am now squeezing coins into the top of the pot! Now do I start a new pot as im not sure I can fill another one in the last 4 1/2 weeks and I hate half full pots  :o

Well this morning I have Potted £1.40.... :D

Sorry I haven't been around much....been INSANELY busy over the last Week....It's only today that I can relax a little...although I still have to Work tonight and during the day tomorrow....but that's okay as it is at home ... So I can deal with that :)

I won't have as much as last Year's Pot....but I WILL have enough for Christmas without borrowing any....so I shall just be happy with that..... :D

Well done LYNSEY - what a fabulous achievement, just goes to show what is possible if you put your mind to it and stay focused, which you seem to have been since day 1. I had another £2.10 for the pot, been spending a bit recently which is a worrying trend, but haven't got into any debt so at least have found the money.
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!
