Morning all, kids driving me crazy already this morning. Boys bedroom a mess again. Everywhere a mess again, I swear I have fairy's that come in at night and turn the place upside down.

Right I'm in but on my own list, really need to get a lot of big things done this week. Kids will be helping weather they like it or not.

    Morning!

I am here but working. And I have rather a lot of paid stuff to get through this week :( but I have done a fly-worker list to keep me ticking over.

pigpen I'm going to give you a virtual squeeze, even if you do have impetigo lol and I know you don't like them, but hell we may as well annoy you on here too ;):p

Right. Taken my headband off, it's giving me the need for paracetamol, and will go find a clip of sorts instead...

Welcome to the weekly Flylady thread. If you need help organising your week or getting motivated when it comes to housework then come and join us.

Thanks to Dusty for last weeks thread

After Dusty's huge list last week I thought it would be calming for everyone if we did the old lists this week...
The idea is that even if you are really busy you don't need to fall off the wagon! Feel free to put your own lists if you don't want to do these lists..I won't be offended :p

Every room comes back around next week so please don’t stress about catching up

These lists are only suggestions and not a must do list; you are more than welcome to post and follow your own lists.

A few of the basics before we start the week

Hotspots are areas where if one thing gets put there, loads of other things follow!

Daily routines are anything you need to do on a daily basis like washing, swish and swipe kitchen and bathroom, ironing, making beds, vacuuming high traffic areas, making meals etc.

Night-time routines are all things which make getting ready in the morning easier, preparing clothes for the next day, making lunches, swish & swipes of the kitchen and tidying the living room before you go to bed plus personals like shower/brush teeth etc.

Fling Boogie - stick on some loud music, grab a bin bag and whiz around the house finding items that can go out with the rubbish, recycling, for charity shop, basically anything that will stop it cluttering your home.

Swish and swipe/S&S means have a quick wipe over an area such as a sink or toilet to prevent the build up of dirt. This is usually done on a daily basis

HHE/HHC/HHI Half Hour exercise/challenge/ironing ... run around for 30 minutes to the Benny Hill music frantically cleaning exercising or ironing.. other music may be used if you prefer!

    Ok here goes this week!

    Hello!

Thanks Dusty and Natty for respective lists and am wondering if Natty is a mind-reader? Decided late last night to make a start on my bedroom (sitting room is now looking better than it was, so don't need to spend so much time on it) and after about 30 mins is starting to feel more relaxing.

It will be a "Manic Monday" today - official socialising is taking place from about 12.30 pm onwards - don't know what time I'll get back and then out again for 7.00 pm for a PCC meeting which usually lasts about 2 hours ...... so, watch this space!

    Done
Carpet - Henry has been for a short walk - but there is more to do
Dressing table/chest of drawers - is being worked on - ornaments, jewellery and make-up etc. taken off and dusted - ready to go back on when dt/cod is cleaner, but am having problems with taking drawers out, so having had a sit down and a cuppa, will now return to it refreshed.
    Window flung open
1 lot of laundry (bed clothes have been taken off, but are still to be done)
    To Do
More Henrying after floor has been cleared
    Clean mirror and window
    Make bed
    Books back into bookcase
And as it worked well last week, follow instructions for decluttering from Karen Kingston's book.

Right, back to it and hope to post later.

DD1 just came round to tell me they missed the resigning of their tenancy agreement so that has been rescheduled for 2pm.. So, DD2 will be sent for Tiddles as OH is playing wilting flowers..

My washer is taking FOREVER!! to trundle itself through this load and Pixie keeps escaping into the garden .. she is watching the water come out of the machine and down the drain..

I'm going to catch her and see if the christening dress fits.. bet it doesn't!!
