    bless you!!

That sounds like my house.. you think 'oh, 5 minutes job and it's sorted' .. then the wall falls down or the floor caves in or you find a leak and before you know it you are rebuilding your entire street!!

I feel much better having had that from you Pigpen! I laughed at the truth of it for quite a while. It's a paperwork frog, the cane toad job I thought I'd got sorted earlier this year that had been keeping me awake at night for months. (There a legend in Australia that if you lick a canetoad, you'll get high. Not here, I didn't.) Anyhoo, five hours later what I thought was just a straightforward 'finishing touches' job involved two trips to the attic, half-filling the recycling overflow bag (it was only emptied this morning) and I think I've still got more searching to do up there.

But you made me laugh and I am very, very grateful for that.
    Better is good enough.

Aww pigpen she looks like dot! Very sweet!

I've done the conservatory today, it needed it. It has been vacced to within an inch of its life. Every dusty, every bit of dead fly and other carp has been schloopped up.

I've also cleaned the sofas and de-dusted and vacced the LR. Made dinner and cleaned up after. That's it for me today. Off list but kind of just squeezed in what I could when. Paid stuff was just laughable. And not in a good way :(

Early start tomorrow. Need to sort some lunch x

I want to come.. but I couldn't manage a York one so I stand no chance of getting to foreign parts!!

Actually, if someone (anyone but me, because I can't organise a bun fight in a cake factory) were to organise a meet during the summer.. KH is taking the girls away for a few days mid August.. 3rd week I think.. I could try...

DD and I have 5 and DS has 9. Hurrah! I will be back at work in August though :o

Brekki and lunch for office sorted (not entire office, just me lol), bag sorted, showered and hair washed, car seat brought in for granny to lend to school (labelled). Apparently DS is one of 3 kiddies from his class to get the gold award and to go on the trip tomorrow. Bless!

I'm up for it - last 2 weeks of August are best for me if it's a weekday.

    Evening all

Very long GB meeting and now I have to go to Mr T to get the blasted orange Tshirt, had hoped OH would offer but no chance of that.

Lamewolf I freeze milk and it is fine. Having one of those weeks where things keep being canclled and other things slotted in.
