Thank you Natty, Dusty and Bossy. I will be popping in to see everyone regularly, to keep my sanity, as usual, but will be working mainly from my own list. Here's what I need to do tomorrow, including the relevant bits from post #1 - others have been done over the weekend or are irrelevant or beyond my present capabilities:

    Check fire alarms are working
Sort 10 things from wardrobe to get rid of (1 from me and 9 from DH)
Get DH to clear his hotspot in the bedroom
Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs
Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing
Wipe over the radiators, paintwork etc
    15 minutes filing
    Phone a friend
    Write a birthday card
    Buy and prepare salad stuff
    Finish draft programme card
    Sort course materials for Tuesday
    Book concert tickets
Prepare lunch and DH's evening meal
Go out for meal with Old Wives

Bossy, please put me down for July challenge:
Stick to food plan and hope for weight loss.
Work in the garden at least twice a week.
Finish at least 5 jobs off my Toots list.

I think that will be realistic - I really need to feel I have achieved something this month: it hasn't got off to the best of starts. My migraine is still coming and going (thanks for kind thoughts, HB).

    Morning everyone, welcome LarLar.

Dusty, I love cricket too. My boy has had an injury so has not been able to play for a week and I have missed it (although the extra time in my week has been nice!).

Lovely sunny morning here. I had a headache all day yesterday but still managed to munch some paperwork frogs.

Busy day at work today but will fit in some flying later. I did our sheets yesterday but the rest of the bedroom needs a going over.

Must plan our finances for July as well.

Have a good day all x

    Phone a friend

First job of the morning completed
I had an awful night and woke up with a start, alone in bed, sun streaming through the crack between the curtains. Glanced at DH's bedside digital clock and saw "11.15". Panicked - especially having gone back on the computer late last night and realised that I had not got the final edited version of the notes for tomorrow's course: should have had an email from colleague in my in-box, but couldn't find it.

Phoned friend (who only arrived home yesterday evening from 3 weeks' holiday in France). She answered after only two rings - and then I glanced up at the big clock with hands in my study and saw that it was actually only a quarter past seven
    :eek::eek::eek:
Fortunately, she is a friend that I've known for many years, she was already up and pegging out her washing, and we had a good laugh about it :o

Memo to self: put specs on before looking at any clocks

    Welcome to the madhouse, Newbies!
    :rotfl:

Oh yes, and I have since found the missing email :D
