Dancemum, I expect your aunt is worried about you. I know your Saturday mornings are your "Me" time, but you are on tenterhooks for the rest of the week, and that must be very stressful for you. Strength vibes and (((hugs))) coming your way x

Hope you all have an ickless journey and a lovely day on Sunday, Pigpen.

We went out for a drink with friends last night (DH enjoyed some local brew, but I only had slimline bitter lemon) and I didn't wake up until late this morning :o

    My list for today:
    - bedlinen -> WM
    - finish writing an email
    - check which lightbulbs we need for bathroom and which batteries for bathroom scales
    - do more filing and tidying in study
    - 14:30 site meeting
    - food shopping
    - weeding in back garden and deadheading in front garden (I did the lawn yesterday)
    - pick flowers for pressing, to make bookmarks with Old Wives' group
    - get DH to take down DR curtains so that I can paint over filled areas around curtain rail while he's out tomorrow; and while they're down, lengthen them - I've decided they look too short against the height of the table  Fortunately they have deep hems :)

See you all later. Spoons are in a jar by the microwave and sticks are by the back door - please help yourselves x

morning all yesterday went totally pear shaped.
the heart scan revealed a faster than normal heart rate, which possibly explains the breathlessness mil has been suffering with for years. but whenever i mention it to the dr shes played it down and said its not a problem shes been rushing about etc. anyway senior dr didnt like the look of it so suggested we took an ambulance ride to another hospital to their A&E to get a fast track admission and treatment for heart problem. 5 hours on monitors in A&E they decide she has an infection so 2 bags of fluids, some ABs and paracetamol later we are transferred to the gyne ward. gynie not very happy but VERY helpful, their opinion was that the heart problem is more important than the infection and looks quite serious, so they decide we need another ambulance ride to a 3rd hospital that is heart specialist, at this point (6.30pm) i decide its perhaps best if i go home for clothes etc for her if shes staying. we got to the hospital with DH and her stuff and that last i heard was they are going to do tests and shes not going anywhere till they sort her heart prob out. she was not happy when we left her at 9.30 last night, ive got to wait till 11 to ring and see how she is today and where if anywhere she is moving to next. next weeks op now seems in the lap of the gods.
i just want to sleep today but ive got to go work and make the hour up i missed yesterday

i hope everyones day went/goes better than mine and mils

hugs good wishes positive vibes sticks and spoons where needed

I love the idea that I could finish that in 15 minutes!

    Hugs, (((Dancemum))).

We have rescued the baby seagull which was stuck down the lightwell all night. It wasn't a bit grateful.

Cracking on with the Frog today with no chance of finishing it. I'm pretty certain there is another box of paperwork somewhere in the attic and I'm very tempted to go up there and play Tetris for a couple of hours to find it. Then I can dispose of anything that is irrelevant and use the bits I need. Two birds, one stone and all of that. One of my June/July Challenges was to clear the nine (or was it ten?) boxes in my office, and I managed seven of them. I'm now back up to nine, but I've done at least ten in the attic and they're much more difficult in every way.

Wow, Mrs MoneyPenny. That sounds like a day from he1l. (((hugs)))
    Better is good enough.

Well done for clearing so many boxes. As you say, the loft boxes are hard going. At some point, I have to persuade DH to go through our loft with me and actually sort out the millions of tool boxes he has. We can quite comfortably afford to lose about a gazillion tools as we have duplicates.
Mrs MP, oh no, your poor MiL and poor you for having such a stressful day. Hope she's better today and that the fluids and anti bs help bring her heart rate down.
Right. I'm off to be mutilated :(. Laters peeps.

I am lurking, not much GUAG :o Minimum flying cos I just can't be bothered :o
The girls beds stripped and in the WM. DD2 has a friend sleeping tonight as we are all off to The Kent County Show tomorrow. DD1 got tickets for my birthday :)
DW loaded but not enough in it to put on yet. I'm going to bake some cookies in a bit so it will be then.
Yesterday next door neighbours officially said we can have their kitten :j The story of how they come by it keeps changing  but now he's mine so need to find somewhere that's doing cheap snipping and microchipping.
Things between DD2 and I aren't good at the moment after I received her phone bill :eek: it's 4 times more than it normally is (double what mine is!!):mad::eek::eek: Phone has now been confiscated for the foreseeable future and she needs to find a way of contributing to it.
I'm going to have a coffee and try and do some budgeting and meal planning :(

Morning all, yesterday turned out not to be a bad day weather wise so I got all the windows cleaned inside and out. Then got the gate painted. OH has a friend up who he hasn't seen in 2 years (lives abroad now), really nice for him to get a catch up.

Plan today is to finish the painting if the weather holds up and probable try and get some of the garden list done along with the car cleaned.

Tent and stuff didn't get collected yesterday so has to be done today before someone finds it at the weekend.

Big hugs Dancemum, I really hope things improve.
