Is it becoming more common for older women to date younger guys?

I think that an OTT age gap is a bit weird. Up to 12-15 years yes, maybe that could work, 15 to 20/21 years is very questionable, but any more than 22-25 years, (like if one partner is 45 and one 22,) I just don't see that working. What they would have in common? Plus, the older one is more likely to have had kids and not want more, and the younger one will be very likely to want them eventually.
I can't see many large age-gap relationships working. Plus, I am in my early 50s, and honestly, could never see myself with a woman in her 20s. My kids are in their 20s! It would be weird, and I genuinely can't see myself having anything in common with her.You didn't, did you? :rotfl::rotfl:0 -

As you can see, perfectly normal
Rather than focus on the older woman thing, I'd focus more on your obvious insecurities. Most (not all, but most) women whether they're 18, 48 or 88 are not going to be interested in someone with huge insecurity issues.0 -
This thread is very entertaining. I met myself a cougar a couple of years ago who actually lied about her age. I was 21 at the time and used to always chat/flirt with this lady in my local. She told me she was 30 and i thought a 9 year age gap was nothing to worry about. We got on very well, she had a very good personality and was quite funny, so i asked her out on a date to see if there could be more to our friendship. We dated a few times before we slept together and the relationship was great up until the point where i was with her when her family arrived at her house with a suprise for her 42nd birthday :rotfl:
She never looked 42 and i couldn't quite believe i was stupid enough to not notice she was older than 30. She does look very young for her age. After breaking up with her for lying to me, we got back together and still are to this day. Age is not relevant as long as you are happy with someone and that is all that matters.0 -
I'm 23 my partner is 44 and we have a great relationship. My partner has no children though which is probably why she is so comfortable having a toyboyI think that an OTT age gap is a bit weird. I find you very rude indeed but you know what? I'll leave posting conspiracy theories to you. I assume because i have a massive newbie badge on my profile, means anything i say has to be put under scrutiny from the 'bigger kids on here' but i really dont care. I shared something from my life which was relevant to the topic in discussion and i will walk away with my head held high knowing what i posted is true and let you continue on your way posting nothing relevant at all.Yep definitely another one!

The word cougar makes me cringe.
Some women in their 40s do look young for their age. Others look about 20 years older.0
