    Hi all,

I religiously follow this thread every day and post occasionally - like honey I have spends and then feel bad and don't post :-( must post more often - whether I've bought or not!

Been good recently and stash slowly going down.

    UU

    1. Clean and clear face wash - deep action cream cleanser 150ml. Stash relic!! Must have had it for at least 4 years.... WNBA - was ok but better products out there (e.g. My hot cloth cleanser I'm using)

    2. Dove deodorant invisible dry compressed aerosol - WMBA but not for the summer as I find roll ons more effective.

    3. Simple kind to skin facial wipes - pack of 7. Bought for a trip away. Great wipes but not cost effective. Think I got them in a 3 for 2. Would buy shin in full pack size.

That's all the UU I can remember. Got a shower gel and after sun on the way out. And a pack of baby wipes so hope to report back soon.

Hugs for everyone going through some difficult times. Thinking of you all xxxx

Right. I'm catching up with myself...

    UUs

    The WBAs

Malin + Goetz Vitamin E Moisturiser (30ml) - this was a great freebie a while back. I will buy a fullsize once I'm through more of my moisturisers (prob years away ). It's a lovely, calming basic moisturiser and layers well over serums and oils.

Revlon Photoready Primer (27ml) - HG primer

Rodial Glamtox Night (15ml) - my skin loved this and I was v sad to finish it. FAR too expensive but I'll keep my eyes peeled for it on offer/in a kit

Rituals Tao Spray (50ml) - loved this :) I will buy again sometime but only in a kit or reduced. (The scent doesn't last very long but reminds me of the L'Occitane Almond range).

Nip + Fab Shine Fix - HG but discontinued. Luckily I grabbed three more when it was v heavily discounted :)

L'Occitane Divine Cream - I loved this but it's too expensive for me to buy BUT I will look out for offers/it being in a set or freebie samples

    The WMBAs

J'Adore Dior (100ml) - beautiful perfume that I'm likely to buy again one day but I have others that I prefer for now (and need to use up first!)

Clinique Moisture Surge (15ml) - I'm never quite sure if this suits my skin (no bad results but no obvious difference either) but I have a lovely big 50ml pot to try now. I'm hoping that consistent use will makea difference. (The 50ml pot was a Christmas sale buy from two or three years ago )

    The WNBAs

Bliss Blood Orange and White Pepper Shower Gel (473ml) - this was such a disappointment! Love the scent but the formula is rubbish (barely foams even if you use lots). I ended up using it as a hand wash which felt wasteful but I'm glad it has gone.

Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Firm (5ml) - just ok...

Skin Life Energetic Cellular Cream (10ml) - perfectly nice but too expensive and there are other things I prefer

Blanc Cashmere Creme De Jour (15ml) - too rich so used up on my neck

Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serume (30ml) - huge disappointment as I love Caudalie. This made my skin red (not the kind of radiance I was hoping for :rotfl:) so I had to use it up on my neck

Origins Grin From Year To Year (30ml) - a stash relic that is long discontinued. Used up on my neck and made no difference, good or bad.

That is all! I have INs to declare next...:o

Thank you all for such lovely comments earlier in the thread and thoughts with those of you having such difficult times. Good or bad, everything passes and nothing stays the same. Cliches, but worth holding on to. I'm glad I'm staying.

Having said that nothing was needed, I found my eyes streaming a few hours after I applied the A!di factor 30 sun cream from last year to my face. I think it was this as there was nothing else that I can think of that triggered it.
I was in the car as a passenger at the time. Good job. If I'd been on the trike I'd have been in a bit of bother as I was only comfortable with my eyes shut for a while.
That sun -cream has been fine up to now, but obviously I won't want to put it on my face after that incident.

I'm not an 'allergic' person at all usually, though I find that self tanning products sometimes irritate my eyes even though the cream is nowhere near them.

My devotion to A!di being well-known, that's where I went for the replacements. I got the Expert wrinkle filling day cream, not that wrinkles are a massive problem but it has SPF 15 and a nice texture. The pot is expensive looking - the expense. £3.99, wow.
I'm actually at the upper end of the recommended age range.!

They had a pack of Factor 50 sun cream too for sensitive skin, the last of the Specialbuy from the other week, so I thought, to hell with it and got that as well. I'll use the one from last year on my hands -or feet even.

That definitely IS it though. Absolutely nothing needed... although somebody very kindly pmmed me a link to Gliss goodies online at bargain prices. Hmm..

    Hello all!

I've very much been skimming so I've probably missed a lot, I hope everyone's ok?

Blokie is back from Boston on Saturday morning, due to the time difference he leaves at 9:30pm, spends 7hrs in the air and lands 9:30am at Heathrow, then it's two days and we meet on the train on the way to London!

Or so he thinks, in fact I will be on the platform at Reading as I can split my ticket so will get an earlier train and surprise him, so much more romantic than having a very close audience in a cramped carriage on a busy train :D

I won't start gushing but suffice to say it's 3.5 days away and it feels like it's been forever, it'll be 15 whole days by the time I see him next *gush gush*

Sorry, I'll pass the bucket shall I?

I've just been cured of my wish to do more sale shopping - I went to look for a new moisturiser and had a (renewed) shock at how many I have

Birthday presents (all in the summer sale)

    Lancome vanity case filled with:

    Hypnôse Drama Mascara 2ml
    Hypnôse Mascara 2ml
    Le Crayon Khôl Black 0.7g
    Gloss in Love 146 4.5ml
Rouge in Love Lipstick 159B 1.65ml
Full-size Blush Subtil in 02 Rose Sable
    Full-size exclusive Eye Shadow Palette
La vie est belle fragrance 4ml
    Full-size Bi Facil 125ml
    Galat!is Douceur 50ml
    Tonique Douceur 50ml
    Advanced G!nifique 7ml
Hydra Zen Day Cream SPF15 15ml

Penhaligon's Vanities gift (300ml shower gel and 150ml body lotion)

Estee Lauder Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator (30ml)
    Estee Lauder Day Wear (15ml)
Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye (5ml)

In my effort to sort through some things I have two TA and one GA:

TA Nails Inc Albert Bridge topcoat (gone off)
TA Carmex balm in a tube (really dislike this despite liking the version in a pot)

GA Yonka Pamplemousse moisturiser (50ml) to my OH as his skin is dry at the moment

    Hehe - yes! :rotfl:

That first stage is so good.

My OH now works offshore and is away 2-3 weeks at a time, sometimes only home for 2-3 days then away again.

    It was hard at first.

He's been off for 2 weeks now.

And I'm willing his work to ring. :rotfl::rotfl:

I am enjoying it, hopefully it will go somewhere, I think it will, I've got no illusions though, I've lived on this planet long enough to be aware of the 'I want to be with you all the time/please would you b*gger off for a while because I need time on my own' relationship phenomenon!

As one of my fridge magnets reads.......How can I miss you when you won't go away?! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

This thread really makes you think about things and why you buy what you buy.

I've realised another 'trigger' for me buying toiletries is 'minis'. There is just something about mini products that is so cute! The little packaging that is exactly the same as the bigger size, except in small! They get me EVERY time!

Case in point - the mini Clinique chubbies. I don't even really like Clinique, have products which are extremely similar/better quality than the chubbies - yet I went and bought 2!! Why? Because they're cute!!

Anyone else feel this way or am I just a complete weirdo?!
