Clutterfree - I adore the Garnier Oil Free BB Cream, it is SPF 20, the light colour is much lighter than the original BB cream they did which was way too dark for me. It glides on like a dream, gives a light coverage but best of all it is completely invisible on the skin, it is very much like my Estee Lauder Invisible Foundation or the Chanel Aqua one but without the hefty price tag.

This is the One I have and it is still too dark for me. :(

That's why I fancied the other one because it is supposed to colour adapt.

    Hi Dolly

I'm sorry to hear that you're all bunged up with a cold. It always seems more unfair to get one in the summer :( I'm glad you have special shower gel to help make you feel better :)

I have to ask: why do you have a decomposing hedgehog in your car??!

Willowbee - Clinique Moisture Surge is my HG night cream, it doesn't do anything fancy just everything I need, it sinks in and I can't feel it all after a few minutes but my combinations skin loves it.

That's interesting. I have combination skin as well and I'd always thought that Moisture Surge was aimed at drier skin (I bought it because it was a 'bargain' :o) Having read reviews it seems that lots of combo skin people love it :) It's even better having it confirmed by you though :D

Have you used many other things from your Lancome vanity case? I love the colour of the lipstick but I fear it dried my lips out. (I'm trying to improve my lip condition before trying it again, just so I can be sure...)

Hope you feel better soon :A

There I was ready to go, I had even applied some make up. A couple of squirts of DKNY BE DELICIOUS perfume which my husband bought me in a gift set about 3 Christmases ago and I have hardly used and I was ready to go. My husband came in the room and complimented me on my make up (he is a lovely man) but then asked if I had been spraying fly spray

It was the perfume. I swear he was right I was all ready to go out stinking like fly spray. I like the smell of the perfume when I smell it out of the bottle, but on me it smells truly rotten.

Hay ho. Another buying mistake. Perfume quickly removed from hit list.

    Have a good afternoon all!

    Hello Kiss Prudence

Your story really made me giggle. When I try a perfume that my OH isn't sure about he will say that I smell like an airport! The first time he said this I was quite offended but he countered with "What? I like airports!" Anything rose based and he'll say that I smell like a National Trust property :rotfl: He's quite inconsistent with what he likes so I don't take it v seriously ;)

I've noticed that the scent of my perfumes really changes with the weather/season. I have to put some favourites away until Autumn/Winter so maybe your Be Delicious will smell nicer later in the year? When I tested and sorted my perfumes the other night my OH claimed he could smell the result from downstairs! :rotfl:

Its reassuring to know that other people have similar experiences. I must admit I like rose and my husband likes National Trust properties :D

Its true that perfume smell different with the seasons. I am not sure that this particular number is redeemable. I did consider putting it in with the flyspray and other household chemicals in case I have a need for stinking chemicals in my future. It must have gone off because it is really gross.

Kiss Prudence happily tosses BE DELICIOUS into the bin with a large grin.

Are you sure it's off? I would have thought it should last longer than a few years. I love Be Delicious - I hope other people don't think I smell of fly spray when I wear it..........! eeek.gif

I'll be back after dinner to post some use ups!!! Exciting times eh? ;)

Willowbee - I have that Lancome Vanity set too, I like the eyeshadows apart from one which is very glittery with no colour.

Have you seen this? I think you might be referring to the highlighter....

I'm certain its off. It should last longer than 3 years I know. When I first got it I wore it a few times and it was lovely. My husband bought it for me so he liked it too and he never said anything about fly spray when I first wore it. I did not keep the perfume in its box so maybe the light got to it and spoiled it.

I have not been lucky with this one and it is also a different colour now than when I first got it.

If you like BE DELICIOUS then yours in probably in excellent condition and nothing to be worried about!!!!!

Love Sage Lilly, very like my own rescue cat. He's lives outside and is stillvery wary but getting much better

Hugs to everyone that needs them and Honey I hope things get better for you.

I have a UU - Dove roll o deodorant I mentioned the other day. This is my HG and the only one I've found that works :p I have replaced with a Radox natural one from my stash from when I'm at home. I've also came across a Mitchum one in my stash, I know lots of people recommend it so Iwill also use that, especially just now with this great weather :)

I have 2 INs - showergel via shopitize/checkoutsmart apps - works out at 45p and 55p :) so that's ok :o although have stock rotated and moved to back of shelf :)

Hi everyone and welcome to all newbies. Thanks for all the lovely comments and advice regarding my son, it's much appreciated :)
Unfortunately last night at about 10.00pm his eyes started to burn terribly for no reason and then shortly he had a massive pain in his head! He was crying and getting very upset poor thing. We phoned the Doctor and was told to take him to A&E straight away (mainly because of last Friday's episode) so off we went in a flap and was there until 3.00am. Thankfully his head and eye pain went after taking painkillers and the doctor thought it was probably a bad migraine. Luckily his eyesight wasn't affected this time so that was a huge relief. We have the MRI scan tomorrow afternoon and I pray to God that they don't find anything :( It's a complete mystery why he has had two funny episodes in one week? When I talk to some people about what happened last Friday in regards to loosing his eyesight a couple have said that you can have a bad migraine WITHOUT the pain and that could have caused visual loss? Doesn't make sense to me but really hope it's something like that and nothing else :(
Anyway sorry for the doom and gloom post lol!
God after the week I've had it's been really hard not to treat myself if you know what I mean :D I keep on trying to talk myself out of the lovely Estee Lauder free gift with purchase on the Harrods website but it's getting increasingly difficult :rotfl:

You might find this an interesting read about migraines

I get occular and normal but never had total vision loss though just flashing lights
