I'm still ploughing through some of my old products from previous months, but I thought I'd post my latest Project Pan list for July. :o

    L'Oreal Men Expert 48h Anti-Perspirant Deodorant 150ml
Unknown Conditioner sent to me as part of a trial 250ml
    L'Oreal Elvive Nutri-Gloss Light Shine Shampoo 250ml
Sure Women Crystal Clear Aqua 24h Anti-Perspirant 150ml
Body Shop Brazil Nut Bath and Shower Cream 60ml
Ponds Natural Aloe Vera Revitalising Body Lotion sachet 12ml
Nivea Body Smooth Sensation sachet 4ml
Calvin Klein Escape Body Lotion sachet 10ml
Calvin Klein Escape Bath and Shower Gel sachet 10ml
Swiss Formula Hair Repair Mud Miracle Mineral Hair Masque sachet 25ml

I've already finished a couple of the items which I will post about later and I have also used up the dregs of two of OH's unfinished deodorants over the past few weeks.
Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician.... :/

    Hi everybody

Please can I join the thread.

The amount of toiletries in my home is really starting to build up and I want to use up some products and get it under control.

Its a strange thing this attraction to smells and goo. I feel delighted when I buy the stuff and it arrives into my home. As I live in a rural location I will order online and have it delivered. Then, stranger still, I feel even better when I have used up a product and finally see the back of it!

I have not made a list of everything I have.

Welcome Kiss Prudence :hello: You've hit the nail right on the head there, I think the thrill of a UU is actually better than that from an IN!

    I have a UU:

10/155. Sanctuary Body Wash 250ml - WNBA, nice enough, smells good and happy to use again (have a few more minis from gift sets) but the lather just isn't that good to make me want to repurchase. Pretty expensive for a shower gel, too.

  • Yes Clutterfree I am a huge Nuts in May fan. :D

Every now and again somebody gets it and has a good laugh about it.

I love that film, its just a sneak peak into my type of humour.

And lets be honest people, when you are fessing up to liking toiletries and make up as much as I do, you need all the jokes you can get.

    Hugs to all

Hi everyone and welcome to all newbies. Thanks for all the lovely comments and advice regarding my son, it's much appreciated :)
Unfortunately last night at about 10.00pm his eyes started to burn terribly for no reason and then shortly he had a massive pain in his head! He was crying and getting very upset poor thing. We phoned the Doctor and was told to take him to A&E straight away (mainly because of last Friday's episode) so off we went in a flap and was there until 3.00am. Thankfully his head and eye pain went after taking painkillers and the doctor thought it was probably a bad migraine. Luckily his eyesight wasn't affected this time so that was a huge relief. We have the MRI scan tomorrow afternoon and I pray to God that they don't find anything :( It's a complete mystery why he has had two funny episodes in one week? When I talk to some people about what happened last Friday in regards to loosing his eyesight a couple have said that you can have a bad migraine WITHOUT the pain and that could have caused visual loss? Doesn't make sense to me but really hope it's something like that and nothing else :(
Anyway sorry for the doom and gloom post lol!
God after the week I've had it's been really hard not to treat myself if you know what I mean :D I keep on trying to talk myself out of the lovely Estee Lauder free gift with purchase on the Harrods website but it's getting increasingly difficult :rotfl:

Sorry to hear your son has been ill I hope he is better soon.

I know what you mean about having a stressful worrying time and then being tempted with an offer. You are absolutely right with that observation. I think its a form of escapism.

I too love the thrill of the purchase, especially when it's a product I've been lusting after for ages. And there's nothing like getting a parcel in the post! :D

I too, get that initial ''this is IT, the wonder product, I WILL have perfect skin/eyelashes/tan" etc etc, and then the novelty wears off and it gets stuck in a drawer and I go onto my next big miracle product. :rotfl:

And THEN, even stranger, is that if something smells VERY good (like a very good body product etc) then I don't want to use it and keep it for 'good'. :rotfl::rotfl:
I can really relate to this too, I'm forever searching for miracle products and of course my holy grail shampoo! I also have favourite items which I keep for 'special occasions' - I haven't quite worked out what constitutes 'special' yet though. I have an unused tub of Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub which I like to get out and sniff randomly.

I was watching a travel video about Korea on YouTube the other night. The girl was showing the toiletry stores and pointing out that they sell sachets of pretty much every product. I wish they did that here. Not only would I make less buying mistakes, but I would also get the buzz without landing myself with a bottle of something to use up.
That sounds like a great idea and would probably save me an absolute fortune. :o

Honey, you can most certainly suffer with migraine symptoms without head pain, I won't repeat myself but there is a post I made further down the thread to that end. I hope the MRI goes well and finds nothing :) If he IS suffering with migraines, there are lots of good treatments available, he may have to try a few to find something which works but he'll get there :) xx

UU #118: L'Oreal Preference Hair Colour in Florence; it's on my hair as we speak. Didn't do too well with the previous box as my roots faded to dark brown again :( I'll see how I fair with this one before deciding whether to repurchase. Suspect I'll be going back to my trusty Nice & Easy semi which sticks better than any perm dye I've used in a while.

UU #119: Superdrug Flirty Body Spray 75ml; bit of a stash relic, smells nice enough and does the job to "freshen up" between work bouts. WMBA.

How about getting some of those little lip balm sized pots that we can put 'testers' of items in to send to each other?

Would just be a little packet to send, hopefully wouldn't cost much? We could request some samples from each others lists?

Bought is to buy. Brought is to bring.

afternoon ladies I have been naughty and brought 2 Memeboxes I have been wanting to try them for a while and with $15 off I thought now would be a good time to get some 1 is for me and 1 is for my mum I got 2 different ones so that we can swap with each other.

I have an in freebie Mac Prep & Prime sample

I also brought 3 Glamour mags so that I could get the freebies so got both the chubby sticks and the moisturiser.

I got my new furbaby on Saturday and she is a mini sooty my other cat she is a handful into everything she loves playing in the bath and I have had to move all the small pots of the side as she keeps knocking them into the bath and plays with them for a while then picks them up in her month and runs of and hides them.

    so this is Sage

Oh Lilly! Sage is gorgeous! I hope that she settles in well :)

Honey - I hope that your son is ok and the mystery is solved soon. I'm not surprised that he felt panicky and upset about pain in his head/eyes. He has had a rough week :( Migraines can take on lots of odd forms, so hopefully that is what it is. (like FizzWhizz I've had stomach migraines as well as head-only migraines, migraine with aura (visual disturbance) - all sorts!)

Welcome to the newbies  It's fun/interesting reading about the reasons why people buy toiletries. In my case it's definitely a quick-fix way of feeling cheered up as well as an intention to take better care of myself, if that makes sense? I'm also on the hunt for Holy Grail products (I've made lots of mistakes! :rotfl:) The main thing I've learnt is that buying perfume is the best thing for me. I used to buy body lotions because I liked the scent but then found that I could rarely be bothered to use them (especially as my skin isn't even dry...) Last night I swapped my perfumes over to summer scents and really enjoyed myself :rotfl:

I have UUs to declare and some birthday INs. I just haven't really got the energy to move at the mo :( (It's why I've been a bit quiet recently.) If some energy appears today I want to sort out my dressing table.

Babafette - I really like seeing the photos of your PP list. Such a great idea :)
