Well, it's not been a bad day. My OH wanted to go shopping somewhere other than Aldi and offered to pay for some stuff so I didn't get to Aldi today. I'll try and go tomorrow though so I can do a big shop. I'm quite proud of myself tonight. It sounds like such a stupid thing to say but I watched Legally Blonde, one of my favourite films, for the first time since leaving uni. It always hurt too much before to even think about watching it so I'm glad that I've been able to get past that and enjoy it again.
My list for tomorrow:
Aqua aerobics class at 9:30am. (F/wl)
Mind drop in to give Kate authorisation form (also ask about obtaining therapy records). (Misc)
Check bank balance for Co-op account. (D/s)
Motivational hypnosis mp3. (M/Mw)
Make shopping list. (D/s)
Food shop at Aldi. (D/s)
I'll leave it at that for now.

After having a bad day yesterday, I failed to pass an assessment that I had at work I felt terrible for the rest of the day, I read through this thread last night. I think this will be good for me as I also procrastinate far too much, and have done since I was at uni, I finished in 2005!
I am also still on medication for depression, which I have been since the back end of 2011. I would say that is a lot more under control than it was (I had about 3 months off work in 2011/12, which started with work related anxiety) I am on a lower dose and in general feel that I am dealing with it. The problem is that when I have a setback, no matter how small it really hits me hard, yesterday being a prime example. I also have very low confidence which seems to affect every aspect of my life so that is something else I really need to work on.
I am going to try this and see how I get on, for today:

Go to the gym[/STRIKE] Done
Erm yep that is pretty much it at the moment!LBM: Dec 2012 - Debt £38,180/ Now £0.

I could've pretty much written your post, I'm exactly the same. If anything sets me back and means that I haven't done the things that I want to do (even if it's outside of my control, such as my OH having other plans), I can fall into a real slump and not get anything at all done for days. I'm really trying to get past it but it's difficult when you feel like you've failed. Which is why I keep coming back to this thread as I can read back through it and see that I have been productive fairly recently and therefore I can be again.

Don't worry if you're not able to post every day, I'm in and out of this thread all the time due to illness. I'll post for a few days, forget that I'm ill and overdo it or something will throw my list off and then I'll be gone for a while. I'm really trying to do my best to come straight back after any breaks, even though I feel embarrassed at having done so badly some days.
You're the one who said you were moving because of noisy neighbours, right? I totally sympathise, my lot are quite good with noise most of the time but I had some hellish ones at my last place. I think I said earlier in the thread but they threw parties until the early hours every night when the lack of soundproofing meant that I could hear them switch the kettle on, were on all kinds of drugs, caused such a mess with their rubbish that the Council had to come around and have a chat with them and once threw a Christmas tree off their balcony into our garden (not to mention beer cans on a regular basis). I'm so glad to be shot of them.
What's the new place you're looking at now. Is it a house or a flat? If a flat, what floor's in on? Sorry, I'm a bit nosy. :rotfl: I highly recommend top floor flats (I'm in one now), the stairs are a pain and sound still travels up as well as down but at least you don't get footsteps above you as well as every other noise. Plus, maybe I'm just weird that way but noise from downstairs doesn't bother me as much as upstairs noise, upstairs noise just sounds unnatural to me. :rotfl: But if my neighbours have the TV on downstairs, sometimes I pretend that I'm back in Sixth Form, living at home and it's just my dad with the telly on. It sucks waking up still being a responsible adult though. :rotfl: Houses are better still though, the insulation means you don't hear as much from either side as you would from a flat up or down.
