I've had a phone call from the letting agent and I can rent the fantastic house! :j
Today I have finished and handed in my assignment (glad it's finally gone) and changed the due date on my credit card direct debit.List for Thursday
Give notice to the letting agent for the flat
Ask at some shops for cardboard boxes for packing
If I can get some boxes, start packing some books and clothes, so it is tidier for when agent wants to send people round to view the flat
Make a plan for what I need to sort out before and after the move
Tidy away Uni stuff that is currently everywhere in living room, I am very messy at assignment time! I am taking tomorrow off studying as I need a break from textbooks.
Call bank and ask them to restore online access to savings account
Listen to one CD that is in the pile I have acquired, put into charity bag if I don't like it
Catch up with a TV series in the evening
Congratulations on getting the house, I hope you'll be very happy there.

I've just had my session with the hypnosis woman I've mentioned. It was interesting, definitely. I was really nervous at the start as I didn't know what to expect and I was worried that my internet connection would give out at any time. But I think it went well. I feel a lot better for it.
So, my list for today:
[STRIKE]Apply for Access to Higher Education course. (U) [/STRIKE] Done.:j
Wash pots. (Misc)
Ring animal shelter and see if they want my old duvet. (Misc)
Take out one bag cardboard and one bag paper/plastic for recycling. (Misc)
Take duvet over to shelter if they do. (Misc)
Clean steamer. (Misc)
Quite a small list for today but the treatment has taken a lot out of me (and I think put a lot back in.)

Well, that's two of my four break days gone already.
I'll have to try harder next time.
I've been doing a lot of thinking over the last couple of days and I've come to the conclusion that I don't think being self employed is working for me.As wonderful as the freedom of it is, I'm not actually any good at selling things and having no money all the time really sucks. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that I tried it as I needed the experience of having done it. Otherwise, I'd have spent God knows how long wondering if it was the path that I should have taken. But now I think that it's time to maybe think about moving on.
It's going to be very difficult going back into the field of work again though. When I was in my previous job as a cleaner, I used to have paralysing anxiety attacks that meant I missed one or two days work every month. That was actually a massive improvement over missing months at a time owing to anxiety as I did during my nervous breakdown but obviously, my old boss didn't see it that way. It was actually very lucky that I got the chance to take up self employment when I did as when I handed in my notice, my boss admitted that I would've been fired before long if I'd stayed there. So I need to find a way to stop that from happening again.
And I might have a way. I'm trying not to pin too much hope on it as I've done that so many times in the past and had things not work. The treatment on Friday being a prime example. Although it's not put me off trying hypnosis to help me as the treatment she did wasn't actually hypnosis, it was something else. Anyway, what I've read does look promising. There's a charity called Anxiety UK which offers reduced cost therapy on a means tested basis. They offer all the conventional stuff like CBT but they also offer reduced price hypnosis. So I've got the forms for them and I'm going to be filling them in and sending them off today.

I know exactly what you mean, I'm having one of those black days today as well. Despite the fact that I got a wonderful night's sleep the first time I wore them, I find the earplugs I've got really uncomfortable to sleep in. So I keep trying to wait my neighbours out the way I used to do before I bought them. That and my therapy forms taking longer to fill in than I thought they would meant that I was still awake at 1am and ended up sleeping in and missing my swimming again.I really hate letting people down like that so I've been feeling awful ever since I woke up.
You did really well to get some things done yesterday despite your mood, especially going to the gym so well done you. :T I'm going to try for some little things today myself and see if they help.Woodster76 wrote: »Subscribed to your thread. I shall read this later.
