Morning everyone

Bit of ironing done and a general tidy around, thats it so far. Going to have an hour on job number 2 until hubby comes home from work then we are skip filling in the garden until later when we have been invited to a BBQ.

Keep looking at that lovely empty skip and thinking about all the stuff that is going in it. Our garden is going to look so much better!

Surprise visit from DS, which was nice. Heard a male voice in the kitchen and thought DD had sneaked a lad in :cool:


I have LOTS of decluttering to do today, everything is everywhere and it shouldn't be there...

Afternoon all, no flying done here really yesterday but today is a new day and i'll defo get something off my long list. Done a mazzive list for over the summer holidays but really I would like to have it finished by end of July. More decluttering and organising than anything else.


Boys tiding their bedroom which will probably take them all day. I've has a quick tidy in the kitchen and put some washing out and some on. Ebay stuff has watchers so i'll fire a few more things on tonight.

Have deep cleaned and organised all cupboards and draws in the kitchen,the f&f too it all looks a lot better.

Does anyone know how long it takes for a CRB/DBS check to come through if you do it online?


As far as I can see you submit your details, then your documents are verified, then your 'full' application is processed.


Just wondering if it's days, weeks or months!

Bonnie paper ones take a couple of weeks, never done online.

Dusted our bedroom and DS1's. Did DS2's bedroom with him, he's having a bit of a sort out too. DS3's next with him once I've had a cuppa. Feel better for settling to do something.

Bonnie, my DH says it's taking longer under the new DBS system.

Aaarrggghhhh, I have another on-off migraine. So much for letter writing. Made pasta salad for the party, will go and cook chicken so that I can cool it. Defrosting freezer in utility - large chunks of ice.

Hot here. OH has done a load of washing and pegged it out while I was out doing some research. I heart OH.

Well I've made some soup and tidied a bit. Chicken cooking now for DD who's been looking after her little brother & sister this afternoon (XH's children).


Can't think of anything else to report, I'm afraid, will try harder lol

Garden edge all done, see saw fixed, spud garden strimmed (never got any spuds in yet). Kids all fed and some already in pj's they have done nothing but fight today. Kitchen bin emptied and a few more loads washed. Heading to cinema tonight so not much else will be done.
