Feeling a bit down at not getting anything done. I have cut the grass, just don't seem to be able to settle to actually getting anything done, maybe tomorrow will be different.

(((Hugs))) Dusty. Me too. I have achieved very little again today. I have a letter to write which is causing me mental as well as physical headaches. It's taken me 2 days of thought already, and I've only managed to type a couple of short paragraphs this evening.

On the up side, I have at last made my second Ethiopian chariot and cleared the table in the utility :) (DH has promptly covered it with his things  ) Also decluttered some phonecalls and enjoyed watching a 2-minute video of DGS1 playing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" on his cornet at his school concert last week.

Tomorrow is another day... Hope everyone has a good weekend, and those in the relevant part of Yorkshire enjoy the Tour and don't get frustrated by the road closures.

The quoting thing's gone all funny again and each time I've tried to quote Dusty's comment about not achieving anything, I get Pigpen's OH's catastrophic tie from a little while back. Wittily funny and all that, but not what I wanted to say.

Dusty, both you and Ionafan may not feel you've done much to your own houses this week, but if you knew, both of you, how much difference you've made to me, this house and my life, you'd be rubbing your lapels and blowing on your knuckles in that old fashioned uber-cool kind of way. I'm so, so grateful to you both for being so stalwart when most of the rest of us are drooping around being utterly hopeless at keeping going - that I just wanted to say:

    Dusty and Ionafan ROCK!

And, tonight, I saw one of my theatrical lodgers on telly - and 'they' (don't want to identify male or female) looked fab.
    Better is good enough.

Morning all - no plans for today except nip to town for leggings haha :)

I am going to set myself the dreaded task of sorting out my yankee candles - this may be good or bad.. I am at risk of getting depressed after realising how much I've spent on them Xx

DH was considerate enough to bring me a brolly for my walk home last night. He also wasn't considerate enough to take 4 loads of washing off the line or the garden umbrella in.

I now have 5 loads of wet washing , I'm loathed to use the TD in July.

School fete today. I guess it will be inside. It's a pity, takings will be down.

    Happy Birthday to Dancemum.

Morning all. I've not been up long but have had breakfast, fed the dogs (not that they're interested today in anything today as its raining) and have eaten a frog. Lets just say that so far in my bank switching, I am not impressed with the new bank. One more chance on Monday and I may just put a stop to it.

I've also watered the plants. About to get dressed and hoover through the house. If it stops raining I'll take the dogs for a walk and the only other plan I have for today is watching the Tour de France on TV. I'm not going to venture out as we're too near a spectator hub to be able to get anywhere. Good job I have lots of paper reading to catch up on. Oh and I might look at the list but it is the weekend!

    Have a great day everyone.

I'd like to run a hypothetical fleabay thing past experienced Flyladies. A seller lists item/s and a buyer pays for them, Collection Only. Between them the buyer and seller agree a price for personal delivery. Provided the seller gets the buyer to sign for the goods on delivery, and is paid cash for the 'delivery service' can anyone see any pitfalls?

I hope the weather clears up so that washing can be respun and rehung, school fetes attract masses of supporters and that the Tour de France gets off to a cheerful start.
    Better is good enough.
