Aww bless her! I love that stage! Now you've got me feeling all broody, lol (I'm kinda scupper end there though :p)

    How old is pixie?

    X

You aren't that long in the tooth.. there is time ;)
Well done pixie! Isn't she only 9 months?

She's got OLD!! She is 11 months all but a few days!! She is a little bigger than DD1 was at 2 years!! She is huge and just looks silly crawling about..

We lost her earlier too... she was found playing in the garden.. it appears she can climb down the step to the back room and from there escape to the garden!!

Glad both littlies were found safe Bossy.. they do love to check out cardiac health don't they!?

Starting the pants to go with Dots top.. but I need to build a pattern.. I want frilly legs and I'm not sure if I want drawstring or elastic waist!!

Laundry all done.. need to pin out the shawl to dry... I might take advantage of Mimis bed while she is at her friends.. large cork board and some pins.. :)

Thank you for your kind birthday wishes x

HB hope you feel better soon x
Ionafan hope your migraine goes away quickly x
Piggers well done yo Pixie and happy birthday to your dd1 x

I have had some lovely cards and presents (my favourite was a letter from my longest friend) she lives in HB's part of the country and I haven't seen her since our wedding in 2007.

The only down side of today was to learn that DH had been conned by a pushy crap make up sales person and wasted lots of money for my present. I have googled it and there are only complaints.

It is Pixies baptism next weekend.. I have refrained from mentioning the fiasco we already had!! OH's mum has generously bought the cake which I am very grateful for.. but then she has been demanding to know EXACTLY who has/has not been invited, who definitely is/is not coming, EXACTLY what food has been ordered for the run and grab and to top off the rudeness EXACTLY how much it all cost!!!!!

Then her friend was going to the cash and carry so she offered to pick up plates etc and asked how many we wanted so I said 70.. there are only about 30 coming but you don't want your dessert on the same plate so at least 2 plates per person and a few spares!.. which was greeted with .. well I hope 70 people aren't coming they won't fit in!! *facepalm* ... so what have you ordered then?? *scream* .. I've ordered a bottle of vodka with my name on and a bottle of lemonade to wash it down!

The entire thing I have organised, bar the cake, so she had to have as little input and disturbance to her life around it so she has no excuse to go on a bender again and fluff it all up for us all.. but she just seems to be wanting it to appear she is doing/has done everything and made me feel superfluous to my own daughters special day and made it clear she thinks I am too stupid to organise a few sandwiches and a bowl of salad! .. Not that I didn't organise the whole affair for my 8 older children without her involvement ...

Then we had the 5 of us staying at hers, oldest 2 in the Travelodge and the 3 that weren't at KHs to come in the car.. and DS2 doesn't want to come.. DD3 was going to stay with us at hers but suddenly that was not acceptable as she so desperately needs to have The Sister staying there too for the whole weekend... why? because obviously neither OH nor I are capable of doing anything let alone look after our children.. so that to me says my children are not good enough or are not to be included in her opinion.. well if OH can accept I come as a package deal, she has to lump it!!

It's a good job my halo is well polished!!! .. I stopped replying to her messages and convey it all through OH so I don't just tell her to firk off..

See.. now you wish you'd not mentioned it!

The Vallikids were the witnesses at their dad's wedding today and have each been gifted a £20 New Look giftcard.
Neither of them bought a card or a gift either! (I was not paying out so left it to them;))

the *glow* earlier was not pride BTW it was perspiration. When I was a little girl I was told horses sweat, men perspire and ladies glow by some little old lady at church and I have never forgotten that!

Nice anecdote Valli. I'm watching the football everyone else is in bed. DH is poorly with a virus but is insisting on getting up at 2am to take DD1 and her BF to Gatwick. We live 7 mins from Stansted and they get a holiday from the airport on the opposite side of the M25! I offered to drive but he insists. He'll give the lovebirds his temperature and lurgy and they will infect the passengers on the plane. The longer I stay out of bed the less chance I will get it!

Not much flying today, double HHI. Most of the day was at the school fete. Did quite well and only spent a tenner.

Wow, Valli. That series of events today sounds like a really big thing. (((Hugs.))) And the offer still stands, and nothing has changed. More (((hugs))) just because.
    Better is good enough.
