    Morning all

Feeling much better now so need to get back on the flylady wagon. I have spent are too much time on the internet the past few days so I shall be limiting my time.

First job is towater the back garden once i've got DS3 away to school, before then I'll get a duster out.

  • Morning all - I agree with Dusty ( glad you're feeling better) - it is too easy to spend to much time on the internet - however I did see something ( BBC news yesterday) being developed in US to limit children's internet time until they have finished their chores - perhaps that would work for Flyladies too!!!

Just downed my breakfast then off to do 5k walk - to see if I can do all in one go ready for next Wednesday - and before the anticipated rain arrives here this morning!!! Was supposed to be going with Dsis but weather forecast bad for later.

When I get back will start frog eating - it must be paperwork then - but might just do a HH Dash to clear every room in the house of stuff that doesn't belong first.

    Catch up later x

Morning, running late this morning, on a go slow. Did a 9 mile bike ride with DS last night so legs feel a bit heavy (its been a while since I was out on the bike). Really enjoyed it though, even if my back was aching.

    Got to dash!

Back garden watered, DW emptied. Just having tea and breakfast (why I'm on here) and then shower and water front garden (did back in my PJs but as school run will be starting out the front that is probably not wise).

    See you in a bit.

    Morning all :D

Working today. Already got the paperwork out, a wash load finished and another in. Waiting on my phone charging so pottering for now. Hoping the 'light rain' forecast stays away until I've finished but looking at the sky I doubt it will. I also need to go to Mr A to swap jeans which don't fit DD for bits for school. If she wants more jeans she'll have to come with me and try them on! Not sure if I'll do that today, or go tomorrow morning, I'll see how I'm feeling after collecting the books in. Completely knackered is the usual feeling, especially when its warm :o I also have paperwork (which is a tadpole) to get done.

Off to make the beds and a quick tidy upstairs since my phone is on 89% and downstairs is already tidy except washing up *sigh*

    Good morning all

Skinty, I love your DS's name for "camel tea" :rotfl:

We went out to climb a hill yesterday and took a picnic lunch, but it was so beautiful that we ended up spending all day out, visiting various NT places in an AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) and didn't get home until shortly before 7 pm. I had a phonecall at 7.20 asking if a friend from church could come round to talk to us: he arrived as we finished eating and didn't leave until 10.30, so that was the day gone. I have no regrets! - I spend so much time sitting and working that it is good to escape for a few hours. Packed lunch is down to a fine art - couscous salad, all in layers in individual tubs, and a couple of pieces of of fruit each - and DH said yesterday "You can make one of these for us any time you want and we'll just go and eat it somewhere with a view." I think it's the first time he has expressed satisfaction with being retired: it's been very hard for him to adjust.

Today I have to go real food shopping as well as eating frogs. I've got lots of tadpoles which are rapidly growing legs, and they need to be culled. Roll up, roll up for Ionafan's shooting gallery!

Lynne.. I don't manage on 3 hours sleep I just don't sit down.. if I did, I'd not get up again.

Still tired today.. Pixie spent the night sleeping on me.. I was too tired to care and Dot came for an hour of cuddles with OH.. Pixie still in bed now. Her sleep patterns are very erratic!

Tesco shop sorted for tomorrow, 9-10am, HV coming at 11am to do SALT referral for Dot.. and do Pixies 7 month assessment which I'm really not fussed about having done.. if I had an issue I'd call them! .. like I just did re Dots speech, though while I'm at it I may request a referral for ASD assessments there is just 'something' I can't quite put my finger on. So anyway, I got a text saying it is the girls sports day in the morning.. !!!!!!!!! I am expected to be everywhere all at once!

Kettle it is then.... I may knit the last shawl scallop while I drink it.. then I can start on the half scallops later.. I 'could' finish it today if I tried.

I want to empty another landing box today.. I *might* get the biggest.. all the rest must seem less daunting if the huge one has gone!?

I need to sell some shoes too, ones I don't wear, they may as well go.. I have several pairs of beautiful Irregular Choice pretties which I don't wear, they are just getting dusty under the cot.. I do take them out to stroke them occasionally.. I have 2 pairs of Evens boots too and a couple of pairs of Georgina Goodman pretties to go.. I like shoes!

  • Hi - just back from 5.4 k walk with D sis - did it in a smidge over an hour and talked all the way!! May be faster next week as won't be doing much talking!! Had a cuppa and a chat and am now ready to get going - 9:15 to 3:15 with a break for lunch. Daren't sit down a la Pigpen or just might nod off!!!

Sorting all rooms first then paperwork and 1 important email.

Hello ladies, today is not going well. The DW made funny noises last night so we called the repair men. Another leak has been discovered and I have a hole in my kitchen.

The base cupboards have been emptied do my work tops are covered in gibble. They hope to have it back tomorrow so I'm going to bag it up and put it in the garage.

3rd load of washing about to go on.
