I'm sorry I've been AWOL
I've been so busy with nothing to show for it
I'm not sure if I said DD1 was dog/house sitting with the boyfriend? Well today is the last day :j I've had to pick her up every morning for work and take her back in the evening.
She did manage to pass her driving theory test this week :T (4th try) so driving lessons will increase to 2 hourly.
My dad's not well. His left leg has swollen up twice the size so my mum and I had the take him to the doctor, we thought it was gout. Doctor was running over an hour late  appointment time WAS 11.10, saw him, he then sent us to the hospital for ultrasound scan and xrays, hospital said fluid on the knee and sent us back to the doctor to have it drained off! Didn't get home til nearly 5.30!! Got an appointment for the next day. Doctor gave him some new pills, took him off his blood pressure pills, told my mum he has something wrong with his liver (she couldn't remember what by the time she told me about it). He's now not allowed any alcohol or tomato juice?? Back next week to see if it still needs to be drained.
We had drama last night, it was quite stressful, last rehearsal before first night on Saturday. My friend who's in charge kept changing all my ques for the props I have to do  And as DD1 wasn't there and DD2 was being a right pain in the ear-hole  I was left to do admin, money, teas&coffees and the bl00dy props!!
Had the police round to do a new statement for court against ex husband next month. Had to tell them how I feel  Tired mostly! Not sleeping cos of all the stress I'm under
Did manage to get some housework done yesterday, mostly cos Mr. O&O was meant to be coming but had to cancel at the last minute. It's fine, I was disappointed but not as upset as I would normally have been. He had a good excuse, not telling him that though or he may use it again!
Bathroom cleaned
2 loads of washing on line, WM reloaded ready to go on later.
DW loaded but not enough in it to go on.
Girls carp picked up from front room and dumped in theirs. DD1 hasn't even been here and her stuff was still laying around!
My room hoovered
Landing & stairs hoovered, kills my back
Living room swept (laminate)
Going to have a coffee see if it'll wake me up a bit, I just want to sleepDD1 is on a late tonight, finishes at 6. So have to collect her, drop her back to the dog then collect my best friend & her husband, take them to see their DD3 arrive at her prom. She's going on a horse! Then take them back, collect DD1 & boyfriend, drop him home then we can come home :j
I really need a day offTaking my mum shopping tomorrow morning. At drama from 2pm on Saturday, show in evening, drumming show Sunday day time, drama show Sunday evening and Monday evening
Coffee is calling my name . . . .

Healing vibes for your father, WendyW and D/W leak repairing vibes for Mumto5.
I've been clearing up a few overhanging jobs that 'needed' to be done but I strongly suspect that this is a serious attack of Procrastination to stop me opening the craft cupboard and starting to get to grips with the contents. I'm going to regard them as froglets and then they fit FrogDay.Better is good enough.0 -
I'm tackling the giant frog that is my desk and the shelves above it. Wish me luck...‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

I've been washing - again!
tidying stuff - again!
Cleaned kitchen hob
Prepared pineapple - have so much fruit in I could be a monkeys' zookeeper!
Have got ahead of myself and hoovered upstairs and changed a bed
Hoover now needs charging so can't finish off the stairs- aagh!
WUDUPA all done -
Ironing finished
Paperwork all in a pile on my ironing board - that which is around and about - no frogs coming out of cupboards yet!!!!!
All this because I did 5.4 km before 8:30. It was easy - but will be better when I don't need to chat too - although that was lovely.
Just decluttering a coffee then off to finish hoovering and mop kitchen floor.
Then it's just the bathroom to do - may leave that until I have a shower tomorrow morning - depends how I feel.
I can't believe it is only 14:40 just goes to show what you can get done with a whole day at home.

Hello again
<sneaks back in>
Sorry for the absence. Pulled myself together (again) and I'm back to join in with the chit chat - I have kept flying going though. Today I've been in the kitchen, cleaned in the microwave and both normal ovens, plus grill and pan. It wasn't too bad as I don't cook muchor whatever I do, I use lids.
I've also tidied my cleaning stuff cupboard, so I could see what I have got and what's missing. Think we're ok for the time being.
Car has had service and MOT, and popped up to town to Wilco to see if there were any bargains. DD got a colouring book for 25p, that's it. But we went in the market and got an enormous gammon joint from the good butchers. Was pricey but its huge and they are lovely, all meat and nothing to waste. It's soaking and I'll put it in the slowcooker overnight with cola.
Just having a cuddle now with DD then will go collect DS when it's time.
Aww, DS is going on a special reward trip next week. He has won the top award, only a couple from each class win it, it's for consistent good behaviour and politeness and effort. They get "smilies" throughout the year and he collected enough for the top award, bless him. He was very proud of himself (as am I!) and the trip is a real treat for those few.
Anyway, I hope your all well, I have read a bit. Pigpen, was DDs scan ok? Dusty I'm glad you're feeling better, and anyone else who is feeling grotty, (((hugs)))Bossymoo

Lovely to see you back, Bossy and well done to your DS!
Craft cupboard coming along just fine, and it's making me sort through a number of other muddles as I am going through it. It's nowhere near as bad as I thought, but still pretty bad.Better is good enough.0 -

Not a lot of frog-munching today, I'm afraid, as I've been holed up in the lounge with the doglets (brought their beds and water dish in) while the plumbers [STRIKE]wrecked my kitchen[/STRIKE] fitted my new taps.
However, I did catch a few newly-hatched tadpoles; and we've arranged to deal with a Mega-Cane-Toad-Zilla that's been put off for an entire decade.
*Fanfare* We've agreed a date with the plumber to refit the kitchen!
Obviously, we'll keep the nice new mixer-taps he's just installed, but he and his cohorts are going to rip out the cupboards and dodgy ancient built-in cooker that doesn't get to the temperature you want, and install new cupboards and tops, and a new free-standing gas cooker (Mr LW's choice; I said I didn't mind whether it was gas or leccy); I'll have extra cupboard space and a draining board that doesn't slope the "wrong" way and therefore constantly have water standing on it, and hopefully it'll all be much nicer to work in.:o
Mr LW's got just over a week's leave starting 15th September, so it's scheduled to happen that week; we also both have a fixed-term savings account each that mature in August, so just in time to pay for all this.:T
I'd already told the dog-sitting franchisee that I'd likely be unavailable that week (we were thinking to go away for a couple of days) so I've emailed him to confirm this; if all goes well, we can still go away for the weekend after, as Mr LW doesn't go back to work til Sept 24th.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
