I'd have a tantrum and a wobbly and pile all the crap in each room in a heap and give them 5 minutes to clear it or you are binning the lot.. .works wonders in my house!!

Yeah, probably good advice. Mind you knowing my lot they would walk around the pile of crap and me having a meltdown and not even notice! If only I could just get OH to wipe down the kitchen surfaces when he has made his breakfast and packed lunch on a morning that would be a massive breakthrough. There is something about coming home from work to crumbs all over the place that really winds me up...

I'm with pigpen on this :) If they walk round the crap and it's still there after 5 mins, put it in a binbag and dump it outside. Then there will be more space for them to walk around in! It DOES work, once they realise you are serious and will do it again next time. Another thought: gather up OH's crumbs and sprinkle them in his clean underpants. Two can play at being messy...

Anyway I'm glad to hear you are more mellow now.

Done some cane toads once I got meds back in my system. normal flying is in the hands of DD1 and 2.

Used home made spray of soda crystal and vinegar to spray on the green mould on the front of the house. Used stiff wire brush and hose to scrub and wash down. De gunked the runner tracks on sliding door of porch. Used paint stripper on wooden step and painted tiles given a good scrap, hoover and wash ready for varnishing and painting tomorrow. Washed all the outside glass of the porch. Tried to replace broken clips on kitchen kick boards but they have changed the style so I have to completely remove old ones and drill new holes.....tomorrow I will dig in shed to find drill.

Used last dregs of paint stripper on my front window sill to get back to a flat layer of paint where it had been peeling, hoovering up the shavings as I went. Replaced broken picture hook above my bed and got Dd1 to help me rehang my painting.

Soaked long strands of cotton wool in bleach and stuffed into running track of main shower doors, ready
to scrub in the morning with old toothbrush. ....I will remove that black gunk.

Rubbish out......my BR floor degibbled again. Time for bed now.....nighty night
The cold never bothered me anyway

Morning all. Just finishing breakfast. My plan before the paid stuff:

    Gym
    Shower
Do some bedroom jobs from list (bedding already in machine)
    Walk dogs
Ironing if I get time (if not I'll take a proper lunch break)

    Have a great day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.

Ah Bossy, your daughter is beautiful. I work with someone in their 40s who still has curly hair and it looks amazing.

So - paid stuff this morning, then I am going for a little run/jog in my quest to get a bit fitter, then the dog to walk and then I need to settle down and get some paid stuff done on job number 2.

So no flying at all today other than the basics. Have got a load of washing to put out and its not going to rain until later so that should be OK.

MinnieMousesMummy - your list is amazing, especially with the hours that you work. Working 9am to 10pm today AND doing all that other stuff??? Now that puts me to shame!

    Right, got to move!
