How could I have forgotten the Shell idiot! Some schools must break up early.

Then theres the mother (apparently) who wasnt happy her son had spent his wages (or all of them) on the fruit machines where he worked, oh and had a kid or 1 on the way.

You can't burn down anything with a candle.

Try telling a friend of mine this.

She's just had a £100k insurance claim following a break in, where it looks like the carpet was set alight with a candle or similar.
I don't see any mention of matches or a lighter being bought at the same time and anyone intent on arson would just use the matches or lighter, not bother to light a bloomin candle so that the fire smelt nice.

Completely irrelevant for the reason above.

Most candles don't smell of anything, including mine at home. It's the scent jar above that has the smell.

Just a candle? No matches or lighter involved? Did the candle light all by it's self?

If candles were so dangerous they would be an age restricted product, they're not, except in Wilkinsons, if you're drunk.

I don't know what you mean by a 'scent jar above'? Most scented candles are made with scent mixed into the wax. Not that we know whether these were scented candles though, I admit I just assumed they were.

So you weren't "drunk" but had, had a few :wall:

Could it be that you and your friend reaked of drink and the fact you were kicking off about candles meant that they felt you were under the influence
