i do because staff said my friend was drunk when she wasnt and also the refusal to sell something normal that thre is no reason to refuse. what is anyone going to do with a tealight!
No you don't. Any retailer can refuse to sell anything to anyone.
They can ask you to leave their premises for any reason.
As long as they were not discriminating against the person under a protected right (which they weren't).

Your friend should be the one making a complaint.

You can't burn down anything with a candle.
I don't see any mention of matches or a lighter being bought at the same time and anyone intent on arson would just use the matches or lighter, not bother to light a bloomin candle so that the fire smelt nice.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
You lost my sympathy as soon as he got angry for being refused service of tealights.
If you get angry because you cannot buy tealights, you need help with your temper.0 -
Is it really worth it over some tealights ?
Situation probably wasn't helped by people getting angry.
Can i just say before accusations staert flying I in no way work for nor have any afilliation with the company in question.0 -

Are you being deliberately obtuse?
Leaving a lit candle unattended (which kids who don't understand risk might do) is a fairly common cause of house fires.Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0 -

Thought you were posting about 'your friend'. Are you changing your story now?
