Does your vacuum cleaner have a blower option?

Or suction, with tights on the end..... it'd either be sucked into the tights.... or scared out from under the piano.

I dare not contemplate moving the piano, even if I could recruit enough muscle to do it (and it's 100 years old, so made when even upright pianos were seriously heavy) for fear the hamster might jump out of its current location and go right underneath, from whence we might not be able to get it out before whoever was moving the piano dropped it directly on top of the poor hamster.

For the future ... it might be worth investigating getting some of those "glide furniture easily" solutions .... you'll need to get behind it to vacuum at some point - and/or retrieve things dropped .... or just to look for Hammy

Saw a really lovely house this afternoon. Might be a possibility for non RP. Currently let. A few issues, but can see why non RP is keen to see if they are resolvable.

Nice sofa ... brain thought "blue/beach theme" .... but I've no taste/style so it might just look bonkers.

    http://www.dfs.co.uk/vine/3-seater-sofa-smudge-100500037p--1 (blue, teal). £299+£55 delivery.

I've been thinking about cream 'leather' though recently ... I hate decisions where spending a fortune's involved..... I wasn't that good at spending £30 on that PIR/solar light!!

Is it low quality, low class, poor choice? Other?

    Is it comfy?

I thought that all pianos had wheels. Apparently, not!

What do they like eating? Can you coax it out with something?

Just now I was able to help someone by telling them it is Jewish New Year, and that was why someone was likely to be 'out of office' - thanks NP :)

Someone else just told me I'd been referred to as 'formidable' :rotfl:

    Phew.

Pink whistley just came back with a small furry, and gave it to mauve squeaker, so I picked up muve squeaker and ran with her to kiwi in to the new bit of garden ( mauve squeaker never lets go) but I begged and begged her too. Not sure whether she or kiwi finished it in the end, but the two cats and he enjoyed themselves tremendously. Mauve squeaker was definitely in charge, and kiwi was really good not pushing the cats, but desperate for the furry. Pink whistley, was mainly making sure kiwi didn't hurt squeaker.

I didn't plan for the new garden to be a blood sports areana.
