Well, I think I finally made my favourite choice for cheese room curtains out of samples sent. Hope fir likes the same one.
It looks a bit like our kitchen walls but really, really dirty and stained, as if I'd tripped repeatedly, each time holding different thinks. Borscht, cream, something just a bit greasy. Very abstract for my taste. Nothing to do with monkeys in clothes at all.0 -
Always start the week with a dozen in whatever you take to a meeting.
I'll at least try to remember not to just leave the unopened box in my desk drawer!
I'm heading back to my parent's quite soon to go and hand over my credit card to the garage (I'm pretty sure I'll be treating myself to some new tyres and brake pads at the very least). I'm sure my parents would love a card0 -
A ( comparatively) titchy dog curled into a ball really is heart melting.
I always think of myself as a big dog person, but kiwi is adorable ( when he isn't climbing out)0 -
Lawn is done. Twice. Once on the longest setting, and again on a medium setting. I have done the two mows at right angles to each other. Otherwise, if you do them both in the same direction, it's hard to work out on the second mow which bits have already been done.
Put up the succah next. But next what? Next hour, next day, next year?
Pur Laurel is due to be trimmed the first weekend October so I was guessing that was Succah time? Any NP who want any Laurel we have plenty to go round....I'll at least try to remember not to just leave the unopened box in my desk drawer!

I have a box but never use them, generally I try not to let anyone know I am not an employee to avoid questions being asked about where the budget is coming from etc plus somehow the whole ritual seems so old fashioned and buttoned up. I would rather scribble a note in my pad which when I then need it I can't read or have lost the page....I think instead I should just suggest that anyone I need to know should 'friend' me.I think....0 -
Any animal lovers watching The Supervet on More4? (freeview channel 14)
Some vet that tries to fix pets that other vets say "put it down". He operates on them, fixing broken legs etc. Got a cute bunny - and a dog a couple rescued from abroad, which'd had a machete attack and lost part of its leg or something... but that one's just got an infection in his paw after surgery.0 -

Not watching that. Derren Brown is on in the background. Should put the radio on really...
Where do you draw the line at trying to save a pet? It's a difficult one and not a decision I'd wish to make.
Did remind me of a story that I saw last week though:

There is nothing on my facebook that I would worry about any of my business contacts seeing - how sad is that
Mine neither - I don't think there is anything at all to see on there from the past few years (maybe a few photos where I've been tagged at weddings etc?) anyway. I CBA with facebook - but it's useful for spying at how fabulous everyone else's life is.
Still wouldn't want any 'business contacts' on there. Friends from work - yes. Anyone I'd give a business card to - nope.0
