I quite agree. As long as they were in nappies, mine spent as much time as possible in outfits that were (a) a bodysuit - ie thing that's basically a top but has poppers between the legs to keep it from riding up - with (b) dungarees on top. This holds everything together while giving a slightly more "dressed for the day rather than for sleep" look once the baby is at the learning to crawl stage.
We put Isaac in dungarees too, from about 6 months old. He didn't like trousers much for ages, until he was about 7. You are right, they hold a baby together wonderfully....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
Re swallowing things I swallowed some jewellery and was taken to hospital mainly to check. They'd get the jewellery back. ( was later stolen in a burglary) I had to go in the garden for some days with the dog ( there was only one dog then)0

I know exactly where ours are. They are in the brackets on the back of the machine thoughtfully provided for that purpose by the manufacturer. Hopefully. If I did not throw them away.:rotfl:No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Down stairs is a mess. The guy who did the back door didn't clear up very well at all and made a big , big mess. And I didn't clean the kitchen properly because of filth being created last week/weekend so that's my job for the day.0

Workmen don't clean up .... on the other hand, if they did, they'd be charging a fortune/hour to do soCheaper to schedule in a "proper cleaner" when work's done, than to pay a builder's rates to do it.

A giant, slightly cringworthy picture of Sarah Beeny with the words 'for sale' has just arrived at our house. I think I'll put it on the other side of the trees where I can't see it.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
