Cheers.... I'd assumed pressing the button would have made it go faster..... I've got the book, obviously never read it. Cheers for the PDF .... I'll read that. I'm more than happy for clothes to come out wettish .... I've spent most of my life handwashing.

Spinning at 600 does mean the clothes will be quite wet - my workshirts need to hang for a few hours until they're dry enough to iron. If stuff is coming out too wet you can always run them again on a dedicated spin cycle to make them a bit drier.

What was really annoying was that I had parked perfectly, without realising it. So, I thought I would just get a bit tighter to the kerb .....
What annoyed me was that I parked on a nail - that one of the other businesses must have swept there .... so they weren't clearing up their business frontage - probably sweeping their debris away from their unit. I'd parked outside an empty one ... opposite a garage repair shop.

Looking at the panel today .... I spotted a 15 minute quick wash too .... if I do stuff on quick wash, slow spin ..... I can get through loads of washing without angst :)
    And I've got loads.....

None of my stuff is ever what you'd call "dirty" as I don't do exercise or mucky jobs .... so, for most, 15 minutes would be fine.

We have been out looking at cars today. We may get a new one so will need to order soon if so. We looked at a ford focus, a bmax and a golf. Then we went to mothercare and looked at something called a bugaboo donkey. I folded it up and looked at how big it was then crossed the ford focus, b-max and golf off the list of cars we could get!

I think we might need an estate. We also need another reception room in our house to keep a double buggy in.

I wash all my gym kit on 20 minute quick cycle with no detergent. Seems to clean it perfectly fine.

I'd put £1 down to say that the cycling forum here would say: Don't ever let Halfords touch it :)

I think you might just be right! :rotfl:

A stiff brandy too, I imagine!

My friend had an old golf (2003 I think) when she had twins in 2006. She had a phil and teds double buggy which folded down into the golf's boot without any difficulty.

The 3-wheeled design made it very manoeuvrable and it wasn't too wide either. From what she said, I'd avoid a buggy design which has one child in front of the other, as once they're getting a big bigger/heavier, it's increasingly difficult to navigate it around without putting pressure on the small of your back.

I would call that giving it a quick rinse out before a proper wash when you have time.

We had a double buggy that folded up small enough to fit in a car boot easily. Not as fancy as the modern ones, though. But very light. I think we gave it away.

I think it will be spinning at 1200rpm unless you press the button which slows it down to 600rpm (see page 9).

    http://www.indesit.co.uk/indesit/_pdf/manuals/19507883603_UK.pdf

If you don't want to fiddle with the buttons, try running your next wash on programme 6, 11 or 12 as they are limited to 600rpm regardless of whether you press the button by the looks of things.

Congrats on rtfm. It's not that hard.

Not an expert on washing machines I'm afraid. I did wonder, when we were discussing the printers wherether anyone had found a good printer whose cartridgess were sheap. The whole forum seems to be quiet about that.

Anyhoo my main search now is for an external drive in the Tb size range that works with USB 2. And won't break the bank! Any suggestions?
