Yes. But you would get a posh alert :D

I think I'd find blue/brown offensive looking .... so I'll go without the posh alert :)

    I think brown/yellow/cream/similar's most likely .....

    http://www.colorcombos.com/brown-color-schemes.html - scroll down a bit

Edit: I guess it depends on the blue ... maybe bright/aqua might work...

    Stop it ..... it's a worry :)

Like LIR (hope today has gone well...) pointing out the flaw in my plan to elevate myself away from furry visitors yesterday!

For me it's all about getting the right blue/ brown combo. Then and again I like combining different colours. If I ever get to the point where my house is 'done', I expect you (and many others) will hate it!

Edit: I like the ones with blues in them :)

I really need a trip to Ikea now. My whole office is strewn across the house. The business stuff is fine but there are birthday cards, children's artwork (including my own) and photographs everywhere.

I've tried to make some semblance of order by putting stuff in Aldi carrier bags. Not the interior design look I wanted.

Was nice looking through it all. I have a copy of my mum's positive pregnancy test. It's written, I don't have one of the stick variety!

Old suitcases can be good for keeping stuff together.

When we were in Ikea the other week there was a (cheap) children's storage/seat that had a deep drawer under it. Stuva. Ignore the colour - colour is one of the choices: http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/S99876662/

What you said. But it's not really brown to me. It's just like wet Blackpool sand (like you said) A lot like the colour of the plush sofa that LIR posted. Lovely beachy colour, IMO.

You've got a grown up beach look emerging, PN. I can't see yellow going in that room anymore, really. White sand and wet sand, and blue. Like the colours they use in the interior design at https://www.southsands.com

Are you watching the Beeny on 4? Double your House, started at 8pm ... or there's 4+1 from 9pm

It's on in the background whilst I'm wrapping presents.

Just popped outside - Wallace (my mum) gave me a heads up about the moon. It looks like a big cheese tonight Gromit :D

Edit: not sure whether there was a specific 'you' in mind there? Doozer I guess?

Not watching Beeny but I can see the moon clearly from the school car park. I need food. Doozerdog ate my dinner last night. I haven't caught up.

Hopefully will find out about job tomorrow. They told me last week they were going to offer me a job but not quite what I applied for, and they should be saying what tomorrow I hope - it makes it very awkward at work as I am conflicted on any work to do with that particular bank but can't really say why which is confusing people... Big day for other reasons as well so if you have any spare positive vibes then I would appreciate them, although obviously most positive vibes need to go elsewhere at the moment!
